The Potting Shed, a down to earth eating house which has been created in the unusual style of a potting shed with a grass roof and decorated with gardening tools. The big dining room is vaulted with a wooden clad ceiling and opens to our beautiful garden which boasts an amazing outside space and a great kids play area as well as a herb and vegetable garden. Open all day from breakfast to Dinner.

Came here with spouse for a Tuesday lunch. The only negative is that strangely the kitchen serves breakfast, but closes at 11 am only to re-open again at noon. We arrived at 11:25 hoping for an early bite, but had to wait until 12 ....More

The food for vegetarians was excellent, with large portions.

My personal experience at The Potting Shed as Deaf Person with a registered Hearing Dog was very disappointing to say the least. I and my dog were refused entry into the restaurant for breakfast on Bank Holiday Monday. I explained that my dog, as an assistance dog, is legally allowed to accompany me into the restaurant and showed them my official ID. This made no difference as the staff barely glanced at it and still was adamant that my dog wasn't allowed in. Disgraceful attitude and broke they the law by discriminating a disabled person. I will be reporting them to the charity and certainly won't return to any of their so called 'Elite' pubs.
