Had an excellent family lunch here earlier this week. Couldn't fault any aspect of it! Booking very smooth, staff friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Great atmosphere, looked very family-, child- and dog-friendly. Excellent food (Burger, Ham and Eggs and the Swordfish Fillet)...served up quick and hot. Generous portions but still had room for dessert. Good local beers, including a low-alcohol option (Noughty Bear, recommended). We stayed all afternoon but never felt we were taking up space or outstaying our welcome. Very reasonably priced too. We would definitely pay a visit again and thoroughly recommend itMore

We were very disappointed considering it's no 5 on trip advisor. Most of their menu was out of stock and the waiter came back from the kitchen twice to tell us we had to reorder. We where looking forward to the swordfish steak which they...didn't have. My chicken was tough and so spicy I had to scrape the sauce off and ask for milk in order to eat it. Luckily it was a small portion. The fish was cooked well but very bland. The waiter was very nice and very apologetic but we had to share him with the bar which made it hard for him to be of good service. Won't be going back.More

Had a fabulous lunch at the Market House. Sarah attended to us and her recommendations were spot on. Her service was great. Can definitely recommend it.

Went in for the music and this place was rocking!!!!, 21st April big thanx to the band,, if you like your band music it's a must!, toilets amazing the staff brilliant, door staff brilliant friendly, drinks OK priced, the music brilliant!, been here nearly two...years not been in as yet until last night. Get down five stars!!More

Excellent rump steak and fries (me) and Firecracker Chicken (wife). Owned by local brewery, so also enjoyed local ale and cider. Great food and service!

Great lunch here. My duck and noodles with Asian slaw was just fabulously tasty, I could have eaten this meal again! Husband had the steak and he said it was a great. We will be going back for more delicious food when we make another...stay in Maidstone.More

Really lovely meal out with our family, food was super tasty and the staff, particularly the lovely lady that served us made eating out with 3 young kids stress free!

Excellent service, staff friendly and attentive. We had the “tapas” equivalent, meat free dishes included, delicious ! And the dessert….. 5 * The ambiance, the live music, will be going back soon.

We can here on a Sunday whilst out shopping . Never been here before, we was seen and seated very fast by a friendly member of staff. Inside the pub is nice and warm and cosy, I could of stayed all day We both ordered...the roast dinner, I had Turkey and my partner had the beef , there was plenty of meat. It came with a lovely selection of vegetables and condiments which we didn’t even have to ask for Both service and food was outstanding, It was that nice. We will actually be going back this weekend.More

Good Pub and Good Food In Maidstone. Always friendly staff that will help with a smile. The restaurant food is really good
