The owner of the restaruant is clearly very bias. They way she treats certain customers ia very different to how she treats others. I was made to feel unfortable and unwelcome. Do not come here if you value good customer service.More

Booked a table for 7:30pm, at 8:30pm was still waiting to be seated. Went upstairs to Restaurant to check on progress, was told table would be 5 minutes, it wasn't ! Restaurant also stank of Body Odour. Decided to leave, won't be returning.

Ordered a vegetarian platter that had prawn toast!!! When pointed out to staff, hardly any acknowledgement of the mistake which is pretty serious. No service, had to chase for food and drink. Didn't leave a tip and probably won't book again.

Starters average,main course tasty when it finally arrived over an hour after we’d ordered. Shame. Won’t rush back

We decided to celebrate my son's birthday as we have been here before. Food is nice but service is terrible. We spent an hour waiting to order our 2nd starter and being serve. In fact, myself and family is waiting whilst writing this review. Everytime...you get a staff to request to order, they refer us to a lady who just appears to be overwhelmed. I could.understand that the place is busy but why just limit the ordering to one person. This is a ploy to delay the food output. Bearing in mind that it is Sunday evwning, they should anticipate this possibility that it could be hectic. As much as i try to understand, this whole experience has taken it another level of wait all you can buffet. The mere fact that they have the audacity to ask us to move our table to accommodate another guest. I will never go back to this place. SO PEOPLE, IF YOU LIKE TO WAIT FOR YOUR MEAL, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE. I would.never come.back to this place again.More

1st time visit for both my friend and I, and it didn't disappoint. Service was really good and the food was beautiful. We went at lunchtime but chose not to have the lunch set menu, which is an amazing £8.95 for 2 courses! It was...my friends bison we wanted to have the choice of the full menu. It was amazing, and we will definitely be back!More

Every single element of every dish was superb, even down to each of the vegetables in the rice! Absolutely fantastic food. A thoroughly enjoyable meal from start to finish.

We visit probably once a week due to the locality, even if it is to visit friends in the bar downstairs. It was 6pm on a Friday so was quiet, the service and food was excellent as always. The extra dry chilli offered for our...pad Thai really made a difference mainly due to liking my food spicy.. Will ask for the chilli again next time I have the very tasty dish….👏👏More

We have been frequently the Sunday Buffet for the last 3 plus years but over the last few months our visits have been less frequent due to the poor service. We enjoy the food as it’s made fresh and there are a few favourites on...the menu. Some dishes do become quite ‘samey’ but there’s always something for everyone. The service is shocking though. The older lady who I think is the owner runs a tight ship. She doesn’t delegate some of the pertinent tasks like order taking and bar tending to her floor staff and there’s never enough staff to cope. We never see the same staff so I assume she has a high turnover which doesn’t surprise me because she can be quite curt and rude to them. The staff are always so friendly and lovely but if you chase an order or try place an order they have to revert to her. For a buffet, although you can ‘eat as much as you like’ past your 3rd order (portions are small) it becomes more and more difficult to get her attention. Today we were there for 2 1/2 hours and gave up even though we weren’t yet done. Also there was no beef at all today which did restrict what my husband could order because he doesn’t eat seafood. Unlikely to go back.More

I really enjoy Thai food but sadly not today. I ordered a Pad Thai with chicken but immediately could taste something unpleasant. I was lasked if I'd had Thai food before as there was nothing wrong with the Pad Thai. I asked to change it...to something else, a Green Curry. I then waited for alomst 30 minutes. It was ok, but lacked depth and infusion of ingredients to make it memberable. When the bill came the waiter left both dishes on. I asked if they wanted me to pay for both and he said he'd check with the chef. He came back and said there was nothing wrong with the Pad Thai and it must have been the way I tasted it. He thanked me for the feedback as 'it made a difference'. I didn't see how. So a disappointing meal and even more disappointing customer service experience. I doubt I'll spend another £50 at Thai orchid, Maidstone.More

Down for a surprise party and decided to pop in for lunch. Nice little restaurant. Giid choice for lunch. Price ok as well. Had a lovely meal. Hopefully be back for an evening meal as there is more of a choice.

A cosy nook this comprising two small rooms one behind the other serving authentic Thai food amidst the usual ornaments including gold praying Buddhas, gongs and flying metal birds. At lunchtimes a very reasonably priced set menu (small surcharge for prawns) is available from which...I chose chicken satay and green beef curry. Service was polite and efficient.More
