Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Shocking food, probably the worst Indian ever. On a positive staff very good and beer on point. Food was sweet, no flavour and just very poor food

Visiting Rabbani's as a group of four, upon entering the premises we came In contact with the front of house who didn’t make it known that he was the front of house, therefore we were left standing awkwardly trying to determine if this was a...member of staff or paying customer. It took one of our group to speak to him before we were even aware that he was the front of house. We were then promptly shown to our table where we were given inconsistent menus with varying prices, stickiness, as well as missing pages and manual alterations made with marker pen. In hindsight this certainly set the tone for what was to follow. Ordering the first round of drinks. Firstly we were given the wrong drinks, upon querying this we were told one was unavailable (after this was brought to the table). Later in the night when ordering another orange juice, I was met with confusion when the new orange juice was presented in a much smaller glass, dare I say it, a glass half the size! For the same price! No issue with the starters, onion bhaji were slightly below par however pleasantly surprised by the lamb kebabs. We waited longer than expected for the mains, well over 30 minutes after the starters. The mains were then delivered over a period of 10 minutes. Two of the party were missing their rice which was forgotten and only received after asking for this again. Two mains were fine however the other two were served with the wrong meat which could be a genuine mistake when ordering however the bill confirmed this was an error by the kitchen. To finish we were charged for two extra drinks which didn’t come as a surprise at this point. Overall the food, when correct was very nice with the complains centred around service and attention to detail.More

We had a good meal in here. Poppadoms at first followed by good starters and then eventually the main courses, I had chicken tikka patia with garlic rice, served nice & hot. The only thing that lets this place down is the slow service.

We came for a curry whilst visiting Watford for Harry Potter world. The food was fabulous - the aloo saag side dish was by far the nicest we’ve had, the jalfrezi and chilli masala were spicy with good taste. The kids really enjoyed their chicken...korma too. The service was absolutely faultless. If we are ever in Watford again we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Definitely worth a trip!More

Very good, flavourful food, great service. The only downside was the portions were a bit small for the price.

So me and two of my engineers found ourselves in Watford for the night staying at the Best Western White House Hotel. The place didn’t offer an evening meal so we decided we would go to Rabanni’s as we spotted it driving in. Although the...ambiance of the restaurant is more “western” as in it plays familiar music and looks a little like how an Italian restaurant might look like inside, it is most definitely a 100% Bangladeshi BIR restaurant. The owner is very friendly, accommodating and welcoming, but the food is to die for. We tried a range of dishes from medium to hot and we all agreed it was a “stand out” place to eat (we’re usual BIR connoisseurs and have eaten in hundreds of places across the U.K. and farther afield). Rabbani’s “specials” on their menu were exactly that. Delicious and moreish. We agreed if we were ever down Watford or North London way again, we would seek this place our. Give it a go folks, you won’t be disappointed.More

Shame as have always liked this restaurant but last two take aways I have ordered from here the delivery experiences have been ridiculous. I ordered through Uber and they clearly don’t know how to use Uber as both times had to ring several times to...chase the order, then both times given excuses as to why incredibly late. The restaurant don’t use Uber drivers so have to deal with them directly. Staff on phone have been so rude and blamed me both times for their drivers incompetence. How they managed to find drivers who a)can’t use google maps to find an address and b)use their phones to ring me is beyond belief! Will not be ordering from them again and I would think twice before dining in again as can’t get over how rude one of the staff members was today.More

Ate here with my fiancée recently, we had an unpleasant feeling like we were a burden for sitting down and eating inside the restaurant, I didn’t see a single crack of a smile from either waiters just a bland personality from each which is never...what you want when you’re trying to enjoy a birthday meal. The food was good we each enjoyed it, so complements to the kitchen staff. We ordered 1 poppadom each as an appetiser and we got 4 in total with 6 chutneys! We just ignored that we got an extra one because it wasn’t that big of a deal at the time. As we got the bill we were charged for each chutney, 60p which it doesn’t state anywhere on the menu… I’ve never been to restaurant where they charge you for the poppadoms and each chutney you get with it, in my opinion it should be included in the poppadom price, then we were hit with a £5 service charge which seemed unearned because the service was morbid abit like the decor. Good food!! I recommend a takeaway and to not eat in…More

Food turned up Luke warm. We live in flats and driver was screaming at me through the intercom to come downstairs to collect my food. I ignored him and waited for him to bring it up as I paid for delivery. I met him half...way down the stairs and I was very polite as he walked away he said I was taking the piss. Shame as I do like the food but won’t be ordering from them anytime soon. Disgusting behaviour from a rude disrespectful delivery driver that was too lazy to do his jobMore
