Great food and such personalised service today celebrating Aunties birthday, great choice of food to suit all including 3year old to the 72 yr old.
The restaurant took extra attention to make my aunties birthday personal, they even treated her to a cake. My son has extreme peanut allergy, which we made them aware at booking, they were very thorough to reassure us and checking in with regards to his food choices etc that we had a great visit especially for his dietary requirements. Thank you Pank Walla !

My wife has visited Panka Walla before but last night was my first visit and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant is very well presented and although quite small its very welcoming as were the friendly staff. It was really busy, every table was taken, but the staff still found time to have a chat and make sure everthing was ok, nor did they rush you at all either.
The food was absolutely beautiful, and if you fancy something different try one of their specialty clay pot meals. I had the vegetarian one which as the waiter informed me was a Morrocon type dish with their own twist on things. It was served in a clay pot dish with a side of special bread, it was one of the tastiest dishes I'd had, the bread was so light and was a great addition to the dish.
To sum it all up its a lovely restaurant with great staff and excellent food, well worth a visit and I'll certainly be going back.

Since visiting this restaurant a couple of years ago on a weekend trip to walsall we always reserve a table here... Why?
Well the owner is super friendly, interacts with all his client making sure that everything is perfect and he is a character!! The food is cooked to order so you might need to wait a little bit longer for your food but patience is an a virtue and I can assure you the wait is well worth it.
The restaurant is small and intimate so you feel part of the family.
Drink, this is a real plus as you can bring your own alcohol, beer, wine, spirits.
Every time we go, the owner has another trick up his sleeve and this time he had purchased a microphone.
He has also spend money on the outside with punka walla so you can take a selfie.

My wife and I paid our first visit to Panka Walla on 31 dec.
The restaurant is located in an old Georgian house in the centre of Willenhall. It was busy as one might expect on new year, but our booked table was ready and there was no delays. Unfortunately it was located next to a very hot radiator, so the location became increasingly uncomfortable. Even though they were busy we had no problem with the service and the staff were friendly even if a bit inexperienced. The food was a bit mixed, starters were okay but our main meals turned out to be too spicy for us and we were unable to consume them. This was despite choosing what looked like less fiery dishes.
Because of this it would be unlikely that we would try this restaurant again

Dear dunkydunk, Sorry you had an unpleasant time at Panka Walla. Our experienced waiters are always available at your service. If you did not enjoy your meal, the waiters would have replaced it to your liking. During the winter period, we had an extra heater but we could have easily moved it away. We hope to see you again.

Seems to be some good reviews on here. I guessing may be just eating in the restaurant. Had a takeaway from here this evening and it really wasn't any good. Onion bhajies were small dense and overcooked. Chicken was tough and dry and the curry itself was very bland. Chips were awful, and even half the bag were proper chips, just scraggly and re-warmed loads of times. won't be using again.

Came for a meal with my partner tonight and even though we had a lovely meal, i can honestly say i will not be coming back! When it came to asking for the bill, we mentioned we had the meetkat app. The customer service totally changed, gone was the friendly faces and we was made to feel like beggars for wanting to use it 😤😤 we was told we should of told them we had the meerkat app when booking?? Nowhere on the app does it tell you you must do this or mention a seperate menu for people who have this app. All it says is book in advance and its 2 for 1 on starters, mains and desserts. Ive never felt so embarrassed in my whole life and made to feel like a tramp for simply trying to use a promotion that they offer. Soory but will be taking my custom else where from now on. Ruined our lovely evening 😕

We visited this restaurant last night as a party of two. It's quite a small restaurant, located on a main road in front of a leisure centre, where there is free parking.
We were welcomed immediately and shown to our table. The staff were attentive and asked if we have visited before. This was my first trip to the restaurant but my partner had been before.
The restaurant itself was very nicely decorated and clean with plenty of space between the tables. Hand sanitiser was also available when we entered.
The 3 course meal itself was excellent. It was served piping hot to the table and freshly cooked. Throughout the meal the staff were discreet but attentive.
Soft drinks only were available but as the restaurant is on the side of a pub I understand that we could purchase drinks and bring them through. This was no effort as everything was very close together and there was a connecting door.
There were very nice touches as well where there were polite reminders about no use of bad language as it was a family restaurant. Everyone followed this, resulting in a very tranquil atmosphere.
All in all it was a very pleasant evening, I would definitely recommend this as a place for everyone and will certainly be returning.

We've been to a few restaurants over the last few years and have not quite found that elusive 'ambience' that we wanted. We visited Panka Walla tonight after a recommendation and were not disappointed!
Panka Walla is a small and homely feeling restaurant. The ambience is just right with well thought out decor and music playing at just the right level to add to the experience.
We were greeted on arrival and the gentleman introduced himself and the restaurant, explaining that it was a family run restaurant and that we were invited to be treated as family tonight.
The service was second to none, hitting that sweet spot of being attentive without being overbearing. Very pleasant team of people who made us feel very welcome.
We all ordered dishes that we had not tried before. I asked for a recommendation, and was advised to try Jaipuri. The starters and mains were all delicious, with only the generous portion sizes stopping us from clearing our plates fully!!
Pricing was very reasonable, and the service felt homely and friendly.
We will be dining here again, our 11 year old has decided he will be choosing here for his next birthday and we are looking forward to having takeaway from them now we have discovered them.
A real hidden gem. Thankyou for lovely meal and for making us feel so welcome.

The people who run this place are awesome. The attention to detail is really something to be admired here, even in the nicest of restaurants you don’t get this kind of ATD and friendly service...even with a takeaway. We’ve visited before (pre lockdown life) a few times, every time the owner comes over and asks for feedback, if everything is ok etc etc.
Just had a takeaway from here and it’s just so gooooood!
Food was very flavourful and piping hot when picked up, a really good amount too (big portions), we asked for salmon tikka masala (they’re super accommodating if you want something a bit different), vegetable dansak, naan rice onion Bhajis and poppadoms...even the poppadoms were perfectly crispy and the bhajis were the nicest I’ve ever had.
They take “going above and beyond” to the next level again and again.

My self and my wife invited friend for our first time to sit and eat inside this beautiful restaurant.and ohhh my cosh the smells was a absolutely fantastic. The staff was very warm welcoming and did everything that we asked if I could give them 100/100 the have got it. We all enjoyed our meal that much we had to book a table for next week panka walla you have gained my respect as a customer and could not fault anything you did for us

I went with a few of my friends to celebrate our birthday and we decided to give this restaurant a go. It’s small but very accommodating. We had a lovely time and the food was delicious. They even gave us complimentary desserts and a card to celebrate our birthday which was very kind of them. The team was very welcoming and friendly and offered to take our pictures as well. Recommend highly for the great service; you’ll leave with a smile on your face! Thanks to team at Panka Walla, you’re awesome. Keep the energy and the good work up!

Amazing food, great service freshly cooked food took a little longer than expected but worth the wait, we had a lovely meal, it is the first time I finished a whole curry, vegetable dopiaza, definitely no grease in sight. Onion bhaji are amazing, extra garlic nan lovely. Fresh Coffee really nice we had after our meal. We Went for my moms birthday, they sang happy birthday gave her a card and present little gift bag with travel toiletries in. My son who is 3 had a bag with colouring book and crayons in, he loved it. Used taste card had discount off the bill too. The man who served us was really friendly, Mabs I think his name is, nothing was too much trouble, really knowledgeable about the food, told us they are planning to do pizza soon in the pub next door amongst other things, definitely will go again definitely recommend you visit it.

Fantastic service and food as always. Panka Walla is the best and I really recommend coming to visit.
First and foremost the hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and they always go out of their way to help you enjoy your visit as much as possible. The food is always delicious and the menu has a wide range of interesting and tasty options. The environment and atmosphere is lovely, with the fun and interesting decoration, and the attention to detail in every aspect is second to none.

The service at the restaurant was brilliant. The food we had was not quite 5 star. The nargis kebab was over cooked but the flavours were there. The fish pakora was too greasy which was a shame because the fish was nice inside. The chicken jalfrezi was very nice it had great flavour and the chicken was tender but unfortunately the peppers and onions were too undercooked. The lamb rogan rosh base was also very tasty bursting with flavours, the lamb was ok. The Nan and rice bang on can’t fault them. Portion sizes overall aren’t very generous, a small glass of squash for £1.50 is ridiculous. I’d give the place 7/10 overall but I would be interested to try other dishes.

We visited here for the 1st time and was not sure where it was when we parked up but the smell outside from the kitchens was amazing. We were made to feel comfortable despite them being busy looking after a birthday party. We were pleased with service and the team. We were asked about any allergies and explanations were given about the meals on their menu. The food was delicious and not overly spicy (we have visited different restaurants and found the meals to be covered in chillies). Thanks for making us welcome Pankawalla :)
