Lovely pub, great service, brilliant atmosphere. Very friendly staff, the food was top quality and came out about the right time. Had a child with us, he was very happy too. Children's menu was excellent value and great portion size.

Visited with friends, having not been for some time. The new team have a great set up, coupled with excellent food and service in a good old fashioned pub. Would definitely recommend and we will return, hopefully we won't leave it so too long this...time. Thanks to all the team for a great evening.More
Hi MarkS752, We are glad you enjoyed your visit to the Yew Tree, thank you for your kind review and we hope to see you again soon. From all of us at the Yew Tree thank you
Such a lovely, friendly pub. I had lunch today and enjoyed some delicious fish and chips followed by sticky toffee pudding. Our labrador enjoyed a few cheeky chips, treats and they even have doggy ice cream on the menu too. Our hosts today were just...lovely, friendly and helpful. Heartily recommend.More
Hi Toodlepip99, Thank you for your kind review, and thank you for letting us look after your lovely Lab, We hope to see you, and your four legged companion again soon. From all of us at the Yew Tree thank you
On a long bike ride and stopped at this pub for a breather to find it closed. We both sat down on the bench outside the entrance for a break when the door opened and was asked if we would like a drink and sausage...sandwich. What a surprise this was as very unexpected. Chris made the most amazing sausage sandwich and both had coffee ☕, was truly yummy 😋 and went down a treat. Have eaten quite a few times at yhis pub and it's food is always amazing, compliments to the chef, thank you so much. Would definitely recommend for drinks and a meal.More
We choose the Yew Tree from previous reviews and we weren’t disappointed. We were made to feel very welcome, super friendly and very helpful staff and amazing food. Will definitely visit again when we’re next in the area 10/10!!! If you haven’t already visited, it’s...a must.More
One of the best Sunday roast I’ve had in a long time. Went to check it out for future family get together, wasn’t disappointed. So have booked the yew tree for when they’re up. The staff were attentive without being in your face. Ben came...over & introduced himself, having communicated by email re booking. Just two slight downsides, parking can be a bit of a problem, but the staff sorted parking out for me ( disabled) . And the yorkie was slightly overdone. Still a great meal & fantastic value for money compared to other places tried recently. Worth the trip out & will be differently going again .More
Excellent service & delicious food at this beautiful pub- made me feel very welcome (as a solo traveller) and made a big fuss of my dog which made him & I happy!
6 of us arrived Sunday at 12.45, our guests a few mins later, we ordered by 1 so it was disappointing to wait until 1.45 for starters (Had to chase them), and mains didn't arrive until 2.45 (Also chased) The food itself was fine, and...the general service OK, but where is the communication? If we'd have been told when seated service was behind or might be slow, or even "Sorry for the wait" would have been nice. Hey ho, we won't be back.More

Outstanding food, ambiance and staff. Simple great menu catering for all tastes. Food quality was excellent and service impeccable. Subtle up selling which was relevant.

I’m really pleased that The Yew Tree is up and running again. The bar looks lovely. I ordered a half of lime and soda. I was really shocked to be charged £2.90. When I ordered my food, still reeling from the drink which costs under...a pound at my local a few miles away, I opted for the vegetable soup. It was ok. Pea soup made I think with frozen peas served with dried parsley & salt in the centre. But I burned my mouth on one mouthful while other spoonfuls were correctly warm. What I saw of the pub on entering looked really good, but the experience didn’t quite fulfil my hopes. I’ll stick to my local if I need a soft drink, that’s certain.More
Dear Sunshine. Thank you for the feedback. All highlighted issues have been passed on to head of departments to be reviewed. Hopefully we can welcome you back another time. Team Yew Tree
The staff, quality and cleanliness are exceptonal. There is a good choce of beers, lagers and wines, and all are of the finest order. There's great attention to detail and customers were served swiftly. I have no hesitation in recomending the Yew Tree and its...a first class stopover for those who enjoy walking the stunning Bredon hill.More
