My fiancé and I were on a staycation in the Cotswolds and decided to have dinner here. We're so glad that we did, as it was the best meal that we had on our trip! I had the penne alla diavola, the flavours were amazing...and a good balance of spice! My fiancé had the Pollo e funghi, and she said it was fantastic. The fresh Garlic Bread as a side topped it off! I came here with my family tonight for my birthday meal. The calamari for starter and the Calzone with chips were amazing as well as the Baileys cheesecake at the end. Wonderful food, all prepared fresh on the day; great ambiance, very friendly and attentive staff. Smaller than expected (about 36 covers - best to book in advance). My wife's risotto with prawns, courgette and tomato was brilliantly good, as was my pizza carnivora - mozarella,...chicken, spicy salami and chilli. For a sweet tooth, try the torta alla nonna - lemon-custard tart with a beautiful thin pastry case, sprinkled with toasted pine nuts. Wow! Also a great Pinot Grigio. Cannot recommend or praise Zitto e Mangia highly enough. As they say on their website: "a true taste of Italy in the heart of Tewkesbury!" Outstanding!More

We were in Tewkesbury for a long weekend and dropped in hoping for a table and the owner was able to squeeze us in between other bookings. Food and service was excellent, so much so we booked for the following night as the menu had...plenty of choice. All the staff are friendly and relaxed. I can recommend the Calzone.More

We were passing through Tewkesbury and, having been impressed by the reviews, wanted to try Zitto E Mangia for ourselves. Can honestly say it was one of the best meals out we’ve had in a long time! The owner is vegan and there are quite...a few more vegan options available than you’ll find on the website as well as the option to turn any of the veggie pizzas into vegan pizzas. The food was superb; homely, natural and full of flavour and accompanied by a nice bottle of wine and an unhurried atmosphere, it made for a really lovely meal. What a lovely experience my husband and I had at this family restaurant. Such a warm welcome,really friendly people and excellent service. The restaurant is modern and comfortable and we had a great time. Hubby had the lasagna, very flavorsome and a large portion. I...had the pizza and it was honestly the best I have had. The base was was so bubbly and springy, lovey smokey taste, with lots of topping. The pizza was nice and thin but held its self, perfect.
