This cafe is exactly what you need when out walking, cycling or biking in this part of the world. Good food at reasonable prices in a lovely village location......and relax! What's not to like.
saw the good reports on here so thought we would travel over from Hambleton for a change ,we had the anti pasta to start ,cant go wrong really ,then I had the steakand mi wife had the steak and ale pie ,my steak wasn't brilliant...More

Stopped by for coffee and cake. Sat outside as hard fur babies with us. Friendly staff offered drinking bowl and water for doogs I had bought a bottle of water from them for this which they offered to refund. Cake was delicious
Thoroughly enjoyed home made gateau and hubby had rhubarb and apple pie, so yummy! Lovely little cosy cafe, staff lovely, very friendly.
Quick stop for a cuppa whilst cycling in the area. Excellent tea and extremely welcoming - although didn’t sample, good selection of cakes etc to keep the wheels turning.

It is rare to find somewhere with such a welcoming atmosphere, tasty food (cheese and onion pie especially) and such beautiful surroundings. I find it hard to leave! Everyone should go and visit one of Lancashires little treasures :).
