Family run Fish and chip restaurant and takeaway serving quality food at fantastic prices. We use the very best ingredients sourced locally where possible and we now offer gluten free fish and chips every tuesday in the takeaway and daily in the restaurant. Can’t praise highly enough

We’ve been getting fish & chips from here once a week now for quite a few months and the service and quality of the food has been brilliant, with no exceptions. Local delivery is provided at no extra cost, which has been such a boon during Covid. The staff work tirelessly to serve the local community and at such a reasonable cost. Always polite and efficient service. Really well done guys, we do appreciate it.

Fabulous chippy and so close to home.

This place is about 1/2 miles up the road from my home. Given the current environment is difficult eating out so take away is on the menu. Hats off to these guys as they’re managing the crisis with five stars. It goes like this, phone your order, tell them what time you’ll arrive to collect, tell them your car make. Turn up, they’re expecting you, order delivered to your car, pay contactless. Absolutely perfect and safe service. Additionally the food is first class, best fish n chips I’ve had in a long time. Sometimes you just don’t know what’s on your doorstep. I don’t need to say anymore,just do it and you’ll give it the thumbs up too.

Excellent gluten free fish/chips.

I don't usually leave reviews, I've had some dismal offers of GF fish/chips.. It's been a long while since we've been to Turners because of lockdown.. But it was excellent, perfect batter, which I'm told is not easy to get right... Beautiful white fresh fish.. Such a treat... The girl who served my husband even brought it out to the car for us.. All in all well done Turners... Thank you.

Weird Taste

Its rare that I write a bad review but unfortunately, this was that bad. Chips were undercooked, the fish was overcooked and the sausage.... it had the strangest taste that also tainted my cutlery, it was really odd, maybe like a cleaning agent for the headlamp area that had contaminated the food perhaps? whatever it was, my son had to throw his food away. The price was also off balance, considering the actual portions and quality of food that you receive, £13 for a fish and chips and sausage and chips is a tad overpriced. we wont be returning.

Absolutely top notch. The fish and batter excellent Chip’s amazing. Was lucky to find today on my way home. I owned a chip shop in the seventies . Finally the service very friendly 👍

Turners chippy is always great quality, great service and great portion sizes! Best fish with lovely batter, would highly recommend! Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my fish and chips.

Surprisingly great fish supper

Called in on Tuesday night, very pleasant young girl taking orders & names to deliver to the car, really pleased they were in cardboard boxes as opposed to polystyrene, only problem is they get rather soggy with the heat, that aside the fish supper was lovely, would definitely recommend this little delight!

Absolutely awful food, waited 20 mins and got a sausage that had either been warmed up from yesterday or was over cooked, was like rubber, that with chips that wernt cooked properly Went in the bin

Easy to order and delish food

Super impressed with the easy online order system and collection was made so easy being brought to the car with a time slot (lockdown may 2020) The food was amazing and everyone was excited to have a chippy tea! We we will definitely be back. Keep up the great work 🐟🍟😍

The best fish and chips in the area

Lovely staff always happy to help. Standard of the fish and chips consistently perfect. Had hundreds of orders from them and never had a complaint from anyone who visits the area
