Small pub that serves gluten free food and knowledgeable staff. Service for food can be a little slow if pub over 1/2 full. Food portions large, even small portions and price very reasonable. Only negative comment I have is why serve tinned carrots?

Welcoming and comfortable pub with a good selection of ales, lagers, wines and spirits. Food menu is extensive and varied and portion sizes are huge! Even the small ones! The landlord and staff are extremely welcoming and polite, and always eager to cater for customers needs. The pub has a good mix of locals and not-so-locals, always making for a... More

Amazing food, fabulous service, great prices, would highly recommend this lovely pub. 11 of us ate here, some had turkey dinner - gorgeous, others had fish & chips, steak & ale pie, chilli, mince beef pie - all agreed food was great. Can't wait to go back!

Visited on a week day evening with friends. The pub is a little hard to find but well worth a visit. The pub was cozy, clean and welcoming. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The food was great value and very good pub food. Really enjoyed our visit. Already arranged to go again.

My Wife and I visited The Nabs Head for Sunday Lunch whilst exploring the local countryside. The pub is in a rural location, and from the outside has the all the inviting appeal of a traditional British village pub. The Pub has a car park that I guess could accommodate about twenty cars or so. The interior is very clean and... More
