Location and contact

A charming village pub located in beautiful Lancashire countryside. With three open fires you'll always be able to keep warm in winter plus our extensive beer garden offers comfortable seating with glorious views. A perfect place to enjoy a cold drink in the sun. We offer anything from bar snacks and light bites to speciality meals and locally sourced dishes. Cask marque awarded ales, fine wines, beers and spirits are available along with a selection of hot and cold beverages. Dogs, walkers and cyclists are all welcome too! Head Chef Mark and his team work hard to develop seasonal dishes from fresh oysters to beef Wellington whilst offering a delicious selection of dishes from the main menu.

Called in here on the off chance and despite not having booked the staff found a table and we had Sunday lunch. The meal couldn’t be faulted and 3 courses for £20 is a winner! Worth a visit but book a table👍😁

Just home from a lovely family birthday lunch. The food was great as always, and the staff could not have been any more accommodating. Would definitely recommend, and we will be back
