What can i say. Crap. Crap service no matter what time of day you go. Crap microwaved food. Run down decor. Disgusting toilets. Absolute dive. Avoid this place. Even Benjamin Satchwells is better. Now that says something.

Decor a little tired, prices cheap. Great range of drinks. Really friendly staff. "Humourous" signs on the loos. Was half full on a weekday afternoon - can't be too bad to the locals.

Very cheap prices for food. Get exactly what it says on the tin... Not bad for the price. Could do better though. All of the food is microwaved.

Very poor experience between the two wetherspoons pubs this pub is showing wear and tear mainly tear. Very popular pub though and value for money would be very off putting to eat here. The Benjamin satchwell is the better pub.

The Jug and Jester is a JD Wetherspoon freehouse opened in November 2010. Some of the pub occupies Leamington's first theatre, first opened in 1813. In recent times the building has been a pub, first as the Spirit Vaults, then as the Chair and Rocket (locally the Monkey house!) and finally as the Jug and Jester in 1996. We have a lovely, secluded beer garden to the rear for the sunny days (when they appear!) and open fires to keep you warm in the winter. We come recommended in the Good Beer Guide for our ales and we have a regular changing selection both from the local area and beyond.
