I went with a friend Saturday night. As usual the food was amazing. We both had chicken tikka kebabs. The chicken melts in your mouth, and the rice is perfect. We had a sauce on the side which was lovely and a salad. We finished with a kulfi (ice cream) and coffee. The staff were as always very friendly and... More

We always enjoy eating at Sultan's - the service is great and so is the food. A good selection of food for vegetarians.

This is a wonderful Indian restaurant in the heart of Lancaster. I have eaten here many times and the food has been consistently good. You need to be aware that you cannot drink alcohol with your meal. The lassi drink is gorgeous and you can order it by the jugful. If you like Indian food, you will love this restaurant... More

The restaurant is amazing cannot fault! However ordered a takeaway and was highly disappointed naan bread was burnt, chips were cold and thought it was a bit strange how some curry's came with rice/naan/chapati's and some didn't. The curry's were quite nice though so can't complain on the curry!! However this is only the takeaway, the restaurant when I have... More

We stopped in Lancaster for dinner during a long drive down the M6. The Sultan has not changed much since we lived in Lancaster about a decade ago. Its a smart, quiet restaurant with friendly staff. They still serve my favourite dishes - including Kashmiri Kofta. For my two kids they recommended a korma dish. We ordered one for the... More

The service was lovely - really friendly and fast service. They took a photo for us and were even telling us to come in the happy hour (as we're students) as it would be cheaper for us. The food - to be fair we went in with really high expectations due to it's reputation (and the price) so I do... More

We came here on a whim and what a find! The restaurant is beautiful. We were greeted by a really friendly server and then our waitress who was just as lovely. The menu is quite small and the restaurant is dry, but the fruit cocktail was delicious and the food was well prepared and really tasty. We will definitely be... More

Back in this lovely converted Methodist chapel. Unfortunately whilst the food was good my waiter seemed lost. Came to take my order, no pad, fetched pad, then pen didn't work. Wrong drink delivered, poppadoms forgotten. Very unusual. Food excellent. Lamb Balti. Kebab and samosa starter really good. Lemon Sherbet amazing.

What the title says! Booked this after reading great reviews online and a personal experience with the experience version of the one on campus. Have to say, made a great decision!!!!! Portions are massive! Went here with my Dad and brother. They ordered a jug of mango lassi and I had a diet coke. The mango lassi did them 4... More

Great food and very friendly. Didnt have to wait long. No alcohol served here but the cranberry fizz was very refreshing after our few pints before in the 3 Mariners!
