Only doing home delivery at the moment, check out their website. They do free delivery in Doncaster as long as you buy £20 or more. I paid online and they delivered the next day.

Great little pub on the platform, always a great selection of beers. They unearthed the original interior and they’ve done a fantastic job of the tiles, the atmosphere has always been great. The staff are always friendly and approachable and really know their stuff. Personally...More

This ought to be listed under 'Doncaster Pubs & Bars'. The Victorian ladies waiting room was 'discovered' a couple of years ago and converted tastefully into a micropub. Green, brown and cream ceramic tiles decorate the walls. The great range of ales (and even a...More

With a 25 minute layover at Doncaster Train Station a friend said let's try the station pub. Fantastic real ales and served by a great staff member who knew all about the beers on offer. A good selection of gins to boot. Nice beer great...More

When I had a long wait for a connecting train at Doncaster I had resigned myself to a wait on a drafty platform or dreary waiting room, when I spotted the Draughtsman! It's a tiny little bar with a great selection of real ales and...More

This place deserves a 5 star review but only gets three stars because twice now I have visited, during clearly signed, opening hours to find it shut tight with no sign or explanation.More

Afternoon Rory, what a shame we we're closed on both occasions. Our posted hours are correct, we call last orders 30mins before close time, this gives customers already in the bar time to make their last purchase or finish their drinks. Once we have called...More

The Draughtsman Alehouse is without a shadow of a doubt one of the very best real ale pubs in Doncaster and its location on the platform of Doncaster Train Station adds to the joy of visiting this pub. The pub itself is only small but...More

Very nice micro pub on the platform but accessible without a train ticket, an excellent range of "Salt" brewery beers on our visit, well kept but prices are nearly double those of real ale pubs just outside the station.More

Afternoon Charles, we're really pleased you enjoyed your visit and we would have to agree Salt are an excellent brewery. For clarification your comment about prices however is incorrect. We keep 3 'CASK' or 'REAL ALES' on the bar and these range from £3.20 for...More
