Absolutely appalled with our experience. We went for a meal for my birthday as a family. We rang initially to inform the restaurant we were running a few minutes late and there was no problems. The 7 of us arrived only 5 minutes after the...reservation time and were coldly greeted and instead of being shown to our table were putting toward the back of the room and told your tables over there. After waiting almost half an hr to even order a drink, we had to get the attention of one of the staff to be even be able to order. Upon ordering our drinks not only were the wrong ones sent but some were missing. The starters ordered were fantastic and no complaints. Upon receiving our main courses, the calzone was brought to the table and was not only slightly burnt on the crust but completely burnt all over. How they were allowed to send that out the kitchen, I don’t know. When sending it back to the kitchen, as the staff member walked off she rolled her eyes at us which is completely unacceptable of a member of staff. The mains were thoroughly enjoyed beyond this, however we were still experiencing issues as no one came to check if the food was satisfactory or come and ask if we wanted further drinks. We then had to go up to the front desk in order to pay the bill as we were waiting a further 15 minutes to be brought over a card machine. In the meantime, we could staff just stood having conversations and one even just stood on her phone. I have been coming here for many years but this has to be the worst experience yet and wasn’t worth the 3hrs we ended up being in there.More

Been going relish for years and never had a problem until now. Incorrect drinks served after waiting for 45 minutes to even order. Food was burnt and when we asked to swap the staff rolled their eyes as they walked away. Service was so bad...I half expected Ant and Dec to jump out and feature me on Saturday Night TakeawayMore

Lovely spot in Doncaster, had a great meal with the family, very accommodating for our 10 month old. I had the ribs which were delicious. Didn’t get the waitresses name but she was lovely.

It was my first visit at Relish Bar & Grill. The meal was delicious, the staff was friendly and welcoming, good quality of food and big portions. I would recommend this place for sure 🙂

We are as a large group, drink and food all came on time but the food was terrible. I have never tasted calamari like it, all it tasted of was salt! I was one of about 5 people who had it, who all said the...same. The burger also was average but again the chips were smothered in salt and unable. Issues addressed by pretty much ignored. 20 of us went to Relish for a celebratory meal/drinks. Every meal that came out was delicious, the staff were great and the prices really reasonable. We all commented that we will definitely come again.

We booked a table few days before and we were taken to our ur table within few minutes time from our arrival. The staff are friendly and helpful, short time waiting for drinks but we had to wait about 30 minutes for the food which...I think it's too long, although the food was nice and I would come back.More

The owners of Relish Bar and Grill have had a prescence on the Doncaster restaurant scene for many years, The American Burger Bar, Le Bistro and of late Relish Bar and Grill so these guys know what they are doing and boy do they do...it well. Really glad to see that the owners have ridden the problems caused by covid and are thriving once again...Doncaster would be a poorer place without this restaurant. Lost count of the times me and my wife have eaten here and never had a bad experience, great food reasonably priced served piping hot, great menu and super service. Just celebrated my wife's birthday there and only missed out celebrating our wedding anniversary there last week 'cos i left it too late to book a table and it was fully booked...doooh. To say I'm a big fan of this place is an understatement. Ps if you want a quiet night out this is not the place for you !More

We called in one Sunday without booking in the hopes we could get a half decent Sunday Lunch without travelling miles to a country pub or having to go the the carvery up the road. We were absolutely blown away with the quality of the...Sunday lunch, so much so we have been at least 4 times since November. We have frequented Relish for many years and never had reason to complain. Today was beyond belief. one of our party was vegitarian and ordered soup of the day and was told it was red pepper and tomato. Three ordered lamb rump for mains and...asked for rare medium rare and medium only to be told it was only served medium.When starters came after a 30mn wait the soup was vegetable soup no explanation as to why it wasn't what we had ordered. When mains arrived after another 30mn wait we were served sliced leg of lamb. not what we had ordered and another member of our party who had ordered lamb cutlets was served charred lamb chops . This was a first meeting with our son and his new partner and her children . It could not have been more disasterous . As previously stated we have frequented Relish since it first opened and before that that were loyal customers of the bistro since it was in Bradford Row over 50 yrs ago. Nice place in Doncaster to go for a few drinks on an evening or a meal......or both even. Menu is decent and prices are reasonable. Particular mention for the staff who on the night of our visit were very friendly and competant.
