This is a good honest local pub. Staff very friendly as are the people who use it. It is not a pub/restraunt but they have just started selling burger and chips at a very reasonable price. There is a small outside seating area where you can sit with a dog and the staff are happy to provide a bowl of... More

Popped in here for our tea to find that they no longer serve food. The really helpful young man behind the bar is why I gave 5 stars, thanks to his advice we had a really nice tea at another place round the corner. It's nice to find that kind of person thanks

A friendly and welcoming local pub. Live bands, karaoke, pool etc. The staff couldn't be more helpful. A great place for a night out.

The food at the Blue Bell is up there for quality with the best gastro pubs I have been to, but the large portion sizes and low prices set it apart from most gastro pubs. It will definitely become our pub of choice for food

I came here with a friend. Food looks really appealing and the portion size is generous. Decent value for money. That's where it ends. Food is a hit bland for my liking.

Not been for a long time until tonight and got a shock the service the food really need upgrading. Waited over ONE and a HALF hours to be served. I ordered Salmon which was nothing like the description on the menu. Too many potatoes enough to serve several people. No vegetables and quite tasteless. Very disappointed and the management didn't... More

Visited with friends from Manchester, excellent food, chips to die for!! Slight delay with the food order but then, they were very busy but well worth the wait. Looking forward to a return visit.

Having been to the Blue Bell before for meals and drinks, I was hopeful for having a good time there again, and was not disappointed! I had the minted lamb suet pudding, which was amazingly tasty, with proper homemade chips - not frozen rubbish like other places serve. We didn't wait an age for the meals, nor was it there... More
