i do not live near my parents and ordered the mothers day afternoon tea my dad picked it up and took it home for a surprise. it was amazing very high quality , it lasted my parents two days. they were so impressed and with the food and the service and the great idea of the takeaway, thanks so much massive recommendation.

Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very autumnal and comforting with leaves and lights. The honeycomb hot chocolate and flat white were delicious. The same can be said for the breakfast sandwiches. Overall great value for money and we'll definitely be visiting again.

Could not asked for a better service. Lovely team helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. Food lovely cake for the mummy to be tasted fab and beautiful ly decorated seeing as it was short notice xx Isla is 3 and absolutely loved her little afternoon tea as she said 'I like the big girls'. Thank you for making a strange baby shower so lovely xxx

We regularly go for tea and scones on a Tuesday and really enjoy the food.
I booked different cakes, buns and biscuits for a family holiday to take with us.
The family loved the baking and it was so lovely to have delicious home made cakes, buns and biscuits to eat.
The staff where very helpful when putting the request in and we was certainly not disappointed.
Thank you so much to all the staff in Jimmy Pigs.
I would highly recommend their food you will certainly not be disappointed.

Staff were friendly, seats comfy and private - overall an enjoyable visit. Food choice is limited, basic and very average quality. (Margarine not butter used, slightly overdone sausage, needed 1 more sausage in the bun etc.) Coffee and milkshakes were good, cakes were good and parking was easy. Queue took too long to go down and no menus other than at the till.

I used to visit Jimmy Piggs regular and loved it the coffee was lovely and the staff were so welcoming.
I moved areas so didn't visit for a long time until recently I've called in with my husband while visiting family and have been so disappointed on each occasion. Firstly the cafe looks like it needs a definite make over ,it looks very tired .
The coffee on each occasion was cold which I felt I had just wasted my money on .Not the enjoyable experience it used to be I am sorry to say . I will certainly give it a miss in the future.

Having been a few times over the last couple of year i really had a special place in my heart for this shop. The staff always friendly and the atmosphere very homely and personal. Sadly my experience this week has been soured somewhat.
The place has been plundered and i am guessing it is Covid related but still. The staff all looked gloomy and uninterested. The manager who was a young lady was very rude to the staff in front of myself and the customer behind me. so rude that if I had been spoken to in such a way I would have walked straight out of the door.
The coffee was not great either tbh.
The reason for 2 stars is that the cake was still delicious.
Please sort the attitude and effort Jimmy Piggs. You were amazing before.

Hi Ruth, I am so sorry to hear that you had such an experience at our shop. We’ve always taken so much pride in being fantastic with both staff and customers alike. I agree that Covid has certainly had a huge impact on all of us and the staff have had many pressures and worries in terms of coping with the ever changing situation. Ordered a cake for my Mum's 80th birthday and it was absolutely fabulous. Looked amazing and received plenty of compliments at her party, and it tasted as delicious as it looked. Great communication when booking, ready at time specified and well boxed for transportation. Usual great service from Jimmy piggs!

It was our first visit to this lovely coffee house, the food and coffee was really lovely. A little bit of a wait to be served but worth it . The only thing I could say was it was a little bit cold inside . It felt like there was no heating on at all and had to leave our coats on the intire time .

Great coffee, much better, in my opinion, than the big chains such as Starbucks, Costa etc. Great selection of cakes too. I often drop in when nearby as always guaranteed friendly service and great coffee.

Nice cafe, nice outdoor area..... but the menu is a bit limted.
went for breakfast and it's basically a fry up, bacon sandwich or nothing.
Wasn't even an option for scrambled eggs...... its fried eggs only.

Very disappointing our first visit,and the last staff member that eventually served me was miserable no smile nothing.Coffee was just warm.I did not ask for cream on my grandson drink the original lady that served me said yes you did,!After I questioned the lady serving coffee you don't attempt to argue with a customer.The wraps arrived I started to eat mine and spat it out cold and cold in middle.I immediatly asked for my money back my grandsons wrap was warm on edge and again cold in the middle.I gave up by this stage and left.Clearly the food is not freshly cooked and may be a training course for staff in how to use a microwave would be good.

Popped in for a coffee and cake whilst my car was in body shop, lovely friendly staff, had a latte and a piece of locally made apple and blackberry cake, fruit grown on a local allotment, absolutely gorgeous, cake was so moist, definitely recommend whilst fruit still in season.

Came here for the first time on recommendation. Great service at the order point, and the food was lovely. However there are no menus on the table so you can’t decide what you want until you get to the front of the queue so you feel pressured to order anything. Anyway I wasn’t disappointed in my pressured order. Pork sandwich with stuffing was beautiful. We also had to clear our table before we sat down. Which was a bit annoying but it was rather busy.
