We enjoyed drinks in this pub, the staff are extremely friendly but our meal wasn't as good as others we've had in the village. It's a nice bar though and a great place to spend an evening.

Lovely cosy cotswold pub. Great food menu, well priced and huge portions. When we arrived it was packed which is a good sign. Yummy home cooked food would go back.

Ate here twice as was one we liked best, felt more laike a pub doing food than a restaurant serving drinks. On both occasions the food was good, although sald with ham, egg and chips would not be our choice, peasor beans is more usual. Drink prices were the lowest we found, with a large glass of Merlot being £2.20... More

The two most-popular restaurants in town were rather loud for us, so we looked elsewhere and stumbled upon the Red Lion. The dining room was small, quiet, and managed by the barkeeper. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Great food and ambiance make this our choice for lunch and refreshment in Chipping Campden. I prefer the tuna on a fresh bagel and my wife has the ploughman's. Excellent!

Rather empty, and staff not that encouraging. But the food was good. It could do with being a pound or three cheaper for the main courses - but it was ok and I would go again.

We had dinner here this evening. The food was good/average.however, the service left a lot to be desired. We pre-ordered, so the entrees came out swiftly. Then I said we'd all like dessert. It took 45 minutes before someone came to take this order. By then, I'd lost my appetite and just wanted to go home. There are many other... More

We popped in for a quick bite for lunch after struggling to find anything else open. The service was friendly and the food pretty good
