Me and my boyfriend ate here whilst visiting the Cotswolds, we were originally going to try a restaurant up the road but it was too busy so we found the Red Lion Inn instead. It was quite quiet so we got our pick of tables. There is a lovely one by the fire which was so comforting on a cold... More

Popped in for late lunch - service closes at 2.30 ..... friendly reception, fire burning and it was so welcoming as it was freezing outside!! The bar lady was so friendly and gave our dog such a welcome with pats, water + a treat!! Soup of the day was flavoursome and baked potatoes great too. Recommended

Ate here one evening. Food was not the best. Duck was very over cooked and bizarrely served with tinned strawberries. Guinness tasted off. The bbq burger was a lot better, chips were excellent and clearly homemade and were delicious. Not sure where the bbq name came from however. Service was poor though. Girl clearly did not want to be working... More

We went here when other places were booked. One had the steak pie and was happy. Soup of the day was ok. Sticky toffee pudding was a huge disappointment. We liked pretty much every other place in town better but if you're in a pinch, it's ok.

Enjoyed our evening meal here on Friday night. Good choice plus specials were all tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and helpful. Roaring fires and a resident parrot, who could ask for more!

Good pint...great Sunday lunch in front of a real open fire. Lucky enough to find a table for 4 without booking. Friendly and efficient service. Refreshingly unpretentious. Would go again.

We enjoyed drinks in this pub, the staff are extremely friendly but our meal wasn't as good as others we've had in the village. It's a nice bar though and a great place to spend an evening.

Lovely cosy cotswold pub. Great food menu, well priced and huge portions. When we arrived it was packed which is a good sign. Yummy home cooked food would go back.
