Had a lovely meal here. Food was tasty though the bread served with the fish and chips tasted rather cheap and tasteless, however the rest of the food was spot on! Had a cocktail which was great, and service was speedy and friendly. Would return, especially in the warmer months as they have a large outside area overlooking the canal.

always a delight to visit ,the service from the young man who attended our table was superb .Whilst very professional he came across with a very relaxed friendly approach, it even took the sting out of the approach from the young lady who brought our drinks we were just pleased she didn't attend to us fully .That said the food... Sunday evening dinner for two. Restaurant was quite busy serving a range of Sunday Roast traditional menu items plus a la carte range. My wife chose a Lancashire cheese pie, I chose a curry of scallops & monkfish. Unfortunately both meals were only lukewarm on arrival. I suggest the pie had not been in the oven long enough. The monkfish... More

I hate Sunday lunch. It's always rubbish. It almost always is some grotesque carvery with glutinous veg that's been sitting round all day. Not here. Delicious, perfectly cooked, well presented Sunday lunch. And reasonably priced. Good service, nice atmosphere and child friendly. Sunday lunch needn't be terrible. Go here.

We went for my husbands birthday. It is situated by the canal in a lovely glass fronted building( on the site where alberts shed used to be) Our waitress was very efficient and could answer questions about the menu. Great selections hard to make a choice and we were not disappointed. We had three courses a pre dinner drink and... More

Came here after a walk in the canal, it's a lovely restaurant and we wouldn't of know about it if we wasn't having a lovely walk! It's a little cramped inside but the food makes up for that 100%!

We've never visited Albert's Shed before, never even heard of it until trawling through TripAdvisor for somewhere to go off Deansgate, but will certainly go again. We chose here as the menu was a little different than the norm and we were not disappointed. The whole experience was perfect. All the staff were friendly, polite, helpful. We weren't made to... I brought a friend for a first visit tonight, knowing she wouldn't be disappointed with either the food or the service. She was so impressed she's taking her husband for dinner there tomorrow! Absolutely wonderful food, terrific service - friendly and professional. My one criticism on this visit - I ordered lamb, delicious tasting but my plate was swimming in... More

Have always liked it here. The food is really good and the staff are always attentive and nice. The location is spot on and it's nice to be in place with some class without the stuffy attitudes.
