Had been meaning to give this restaurant a try after so many recommendations from friends. Well, I'm glad I did! Delicious, fresh, piping hot food, at a resonable price and plenty of it too - they don't skimp on the portions here! Service was efficient...and friendly. Many Asian famiies here - always a good sign. Advise booking to avoid disappointment at weekends. Will be going more often now I've tried it. Yum!More

This was our 5th visit here over the past couple of years and, although the restaurant is a 40 min drive away, it is always well worth the effort. This time was no exception - we shared some Fresh Summer Rolls (prawn) as starter, then...bowls of Pho (rare steak) and as usual both were excellent - fresh and tasty. The food has been consistently superb on our visits and the staff are friendly and helpful - well done!More

Found this place by chance and it’s now become a regular haunt. Food excellent, especially the papaya salad, incredible!!! Would definitely recommend!!!

Very friendly family vietnamese restaurant that I have often visited and every time the food is top rate. Whenever I visit, there is always a good proportion of Asian customers, which is a great thing to see .. with the busy chatter that gives the...place a feel that you are in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh. The menue is straightforward with easy explanation, and I love ordering a wide variety of starters and main courses that arrive after a short interval, giving me time to drink the beer .. Ha Noi or the Sai Gon . Then, the main event starts with the arrival of the dishes from the fresh summer rolls to the main courses like Pho ( vietnamese noidle soup ) and all the other dishes in between . The spiciness is indicated on the menu so you can choose your heat standard . I am blessed to live near Viet Guy and enjoy going to eat there .. never disappointed, and the prices are very reasonable and affordable .I will be back soonMore

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Pho at a Vietguys restaurant, and it was an absolutely fantastic culinary experience. The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting, with just the right balance of spices and seasoning. Since finding this gem of a restaurant four years ago, me and my partner have eaten here once or twice a month (barring COVID lock-downs). During that time, we have worked through the full menu and have yet to be disappointed at any of our...visits. Both their food and their service is excellent. What makes Viet Guy stand out as restaurant is the freshness of their food, if you want to see an example of this you should definitely try their beef summer rolls. Despite trying everything on the menu, I almost always order their Phở and add all the fresh salad and vegetables and add some chilli oil. Despite, essentially, Phở being nothing more than a broth with noodles, they somehow manage to elevate something simple, fresh and delicate to something excellent by giving it a deep complexity. Viet Guy is easily my favourite restaurant, and I always leave there satisfied and with my wallet not taking too much of a hit.More

Viet guy is unmatched. We are vegan and the vegan options are amazing. We get seitan which has a great texture and such a nice change from tofu. They do a hot and sour pho called Bun Ca and it is amazing. We have been...to lots of other Vietnamese restaurants, and nowhere offers this type of pho. I would definitely recommend! We love the salt and pepper dishes, papaya salad, and of course, the Vietnamese pancake. We don’t just come here for the authentic, delicious food - The service is great and everyone is so welcoming and friendly. Such a family orientated business which we love to see.
