Recommendation to try out vietshack while visiting Manchester and not disappointed. Great meal, food reminded us for travels to Vietnam. Lovely chat with front of house staff. Get there early as busy

I’ve been to Vietnam & this was on a par. We had pho, belly pork, duck, chicken & aubergine & purple sprouting broccoli oh & squid. All lovely. Great atmosphere to the place the kitchen is open to view & the staff were great. Well...worth a visit. Mot hai ba …uong 🍺More

The whole family loves this place. Laid back, dog friendly small restaurant with outdoor seating. Download your own menu, make sure to look at the right one, have a lunchtime deal or one of their great mock tails. Things can be a little hit+miss, e.g....whether they have sweet potatoes in for the fries, but the foods is fresh and delicious. More aromatic flavours than Chinese, not as hot as Thai. Great noodle soup bowls, lovely salads and the kids adore the loaded fries. Been 3 times this summer and it's become a firm pit stop in the Northern Quarter.More

We came early evening on a Friday. Luckily we didn't have to queue although those after us did. Sat at the table and given instructions on using the online menu. We then had quite the wait for someone to serve us. Couldn't grab the attention...of any one as no one was around us. Others that came in after us got served before us. Those who were seated in the pink area rather than the main dining area like us seemed to be forgotten about. Those next to us also didn't get served until having to try and flag the waiters. The food and drinks were great. The cocktails are great value and tasty. The pho is tasty and rice yummy. The atmosphere is great, lots of background chatter. Also has a great music playlist. Would definitely go again, just be ready to try and flag down a waiter/waitress.More

I had the pork rice box from deliveroo as I didn’t want to have the pho noodles and when I got it the rice was very hard and dry with lack of soy sauce . They also had hidden chillies mixed with the salad and...rice so when I bit into one it was very spicy - ouch . Worst ricebox I’ve ever had itsu does better riceboxes . Don’t recommend having a ricebox from here go for the pho instead .More

1st visit to the restaurant eaten at the Arndale stall many times. Had to wait for a table as no bookings but we’ll worth it. Menu is very big and plenty of choices Started with some small sharing plates all full of flavour cooked really...well. I had chicken thighs and rice dish for main. Staff really friendly and helpful with menu. Will definitely be going again.More

Reading that this place serves up plates of great food we decided to take a punt. We weren’t disappointed and had some great freshly prepared food in a very busy restaurant. The only issue we and a number of people sat near us had was...the music was way too loud, so for a Friday night out with your loved one it meant having to shout at each other to be understood - hardly a Friday wind down! So, turn down the music folk!More

Came back today after a month and will definitely come back for more. Just AMAZING! From starters to dessert. Food is awesome. Service was great too. Our waitress Virginia was super friendly, made us feel welcome even if we stayed a little bit over 9pm...to finish off our desserts. 100% recommended!More

Have seen how busy this place is but not sure what the fuss is about.waited ages for our food. Waiters kept asking people who were eating if they were OK but didn't check in on those who were waiting a long time for food.when it...came it wasn't much to get excited about. Does put you off eating out. And sadly we're all ultra about being covid safe and sanitised yet the toilet was piled high with paper towels and no soap!!! 10% service charge really???More

Went here for dinner and OMG we made the right choice. When we arrived, they didn't have a free table but luckily we managed to book a table for 45 minutes later. The guy actually called us when the table was ready, that's a really...nice touch. They had an amazing choice for both vegetarian and vegan people too on the menu. We had few starters and some pho, everything was wonderful. We also tried the Golden Bao and that was absolutely insanely tasty. It's really worth giving it a try. So far, one of the best Vietnamese restaurant I tried in my life. Service was very polite and friendly too. Thanks a lot for the night and see you soon.More

Hi 👋🏼 We welcome takeaway orders at all times for those who order in-house, but please be aware of our limited capacity. Waiting times for food are around the same as seated guests would expect. We aim to have food out... More

Before ordering I asked if the pho and the other noodles were gluten free. The waiter asked the cook but the cook didn't understand what he was saying, then he asked again but still nothing, then he asked a third time but the cook was confused like he was not understanding. But the waiter then said "yes, yes all our noodles are gluten free". So I took some noodles (not the Pho, but the other one, I don't rembember the name). And....actually THEY ARE NOT GLUTEN FREE! I'm finished eating 3-4 hours ago and I'm still sick (diarrhea, pain..) since then. Gluten intolerance is something really serious: I'm aware of the fact that many people say that are gluten intolerant while they are not...but I really am! Should I show you my blood test next time or what ? And luckly I'm just intolerant to gluten and not allergic, otherwise I could have died! Your is a criminal behavior! never again.

The fact the chef didn't understand the question and it took 4 attempt to get an answer should have raised flags with you and you should have had something else. Why risk your own health when you can clearly see you wouldn't... More
