I really liked the quality and freshness of the food here. The menu is small and refined, which l like as l don’t like to browse large menus. The waiters accommodated a tweak to my starter the Wah Ji Wah platter (as l don’t eat...fish so provided extra chicken instead). The starter went down fast it was delicious. The recommended mains Gosht Banjara was also delicious with garlic and coriander naan. My only negative was I’d have liked a little more lamb with the more than ample sauce. I ordered another naan to finish off the sauce and it arrived super quick. Service was excellent and attentive. Highly recommended.More

The food is top rate. They have a vegan/vegetarian menu though unfortunately was told that this was only available online. Mentioned to 2 waiters to say that it would be better to be integrated into the main menu or given separately with the main menu...as an alternative and they took this constructive criticism onboard. Overall however the food is of a very high standard.More

Food was good, but the atmosphere seemed somewhat lacking. I'd probably go again as the food was good, but not exceptional

Arrived for dinner at 6.30 and there were several tables already there and lots of takeaways going out. Very attentive service and the food was delicious from the poppadoms and accompanying sauces to the light, fluffy naan bread and the hot but full of flavour...Ghost Banjara. Will definately be returning when next in Manchester.More

The restaurant was small but that didn't disappoint us with the food and service. Excellent attentive staff with good knowledge of the food they serve. Highly recommended.

I've been dining at Wah-Ji-Wah on and off for a few years and rate it highly. The menu has changed slightly from the last time I visited, so I tried a couple of the new dishes. Both the crab starter and roast lamb curry main...were fantastic. The naan is always light and delicious. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant.More

The restaurant is small but very smart and cosy. The service is impeccable and very efficient. We had a platter to share, and everything on there was delicious. The mains were good too, and my daughter loved the breads.

We both like a good curry and Wah Ji Wah did not disappoint on that score – both of our main dishes had a good balance of flavour and spice, and we enjoyed the poppadom dips as well. Despite visiting on a quiet evening, there...were a few issues with the service though – we had to ask 3 times for tap water and were given a garlic naan when we’d ordered a plain one. We were also rather surprised to see a service charge added automatically to the bill and to be asked to pay the bill in cash, rather than by card. These were all minor issues though – the food was good enough for us to be happy to go back another time.More

We love curry and on this visit to Manchester we looked for an Indian restaurant close to our hotel, the Lowry. This place is a five minute walk, quite small and with an open kitchen to see the chef cooking your food. The place was...spotless and service excellent to complement the food which was outstanding. We chose from the small but varied menu and everything was a delight for the tastebuds. How we wish we had a restaurant like this where we live!More
