Yes it’s expensive but you get what you pay for. The chocolates in here are incredible and make a brilliant gift. We had some at work the other day and I’ve bought 2 boxes since for friends and family!
We spent £30 each for a brunch, wine and an off date piece of cake… honestly the food there was not fresh at all. Very poor menu with a tiny variety and the salmon looked old, the cake definitely about 10 days old and I...was in toilet all day after that. Honestly don’t waist your money there.More
I really enjoy trying different places for afternoon tea. I booked a table for 2, this was a birthday treat for my sister. I booked the afternoon tea with cocktails. We waited almost 1/2 hour for a drink. I had to go up to the...bar and ask if our drinks had been forgotten. We then got 2 porn star martini without the prosecco shots as they didn't arrive . Anyway. The afternoon tea. The sandwiches were very poor. Hardly anything in them and tiny. I opened one of the wraps and it just had a tiny piece of lettuce and nothing else. I was hungry after and I had to go to the co-op for a sandwich. The cakes and chocolates were amazing, but the rest was shocking. I must say that the service was poor. I didn't say anything at the time as we were sat next to a table of girls all complaining about the service and burnt food, lack of drinks. It wasn't a great experience. The waitress said she realised we didn't get a good experience and charged us less. However I would have happily paid whatever for good food, service and atmosphere and to not feel hungry when leaving.More
You might be better opting for a less expensive package than the £44 unlimited drinks though, the service was so slow that we had empty glasses a lot of the time making this a very expensive option.
The afternoon tea, good quality and tasted delicious....food was excellent.More
This is our go to place for coffee and cake.
We also take our fur baby is is made to feel very special with treats and bows of water.
Cakes are amazing
And coffee is great also.
Staff are so lovely and give us a...really warm welcome and let us reserve our favourite spot each weekend.
It’s very chilled and laid back atmosphere and we love it.
Big shout out to the staff.
One thing they could improve: have a childrens menu.More
Booked afternoon tea for 2 families. It was a train wreck. Despite checking for nut allergies they managed to bring out a bunch of nut products - and the sandwiches were all completely bone dry - literally slices of beef on dry rolls. The manager...did her best and explained that it was an agency chef (who apparently doesn’t know how to make a sandwich) and took the food away and remade it all. Second attempt was better but still the sandwiches were pretty dreadful. Had to wait 20 mins for a cup of tea too. They’re trying but it didn’t work out at all.More
My friend and I were looking for a place to rest our feet after the canal walk and after deliberation, we decided to go back to Cocoa Cabana because of the cakes display. We were not disappointed. My friend’s food was nice and my cake...although a bit too sweet for me, it was moist which was important. Best of all, the friendly and attentive service was top notch! We will return.More
They made my friends hen do so special and personalised! Cocktails were insaneee and making our own was so fun. We’d booked to go to another bar that night and cancelled it because we wanted to stay here longer- they played songs we wanted on...and we had some fab nibbles too included in our package- one of the best nights for all of us!More
