What a great evening! The food was so good - I had the Stifado and it was - chef’s kiss! There was live Greek music which added to the atmosphere and despite the heavy rain outside, it felt sunny and cheerful inside.

Disappointing trip here really. (We still had fun as good group of us, but not to do with the restaurant!). We were seated in the basement. Service was slow. They forgot 2 of our meals and then got one of those wrong. One of us...asked for half chips half rice and they said “not tonight”. Would have been better just to say they don’t do that - and really how hard would it have been? £19 for chicken skewer and 4 roast potatoes. No garnish / salad / bread etc - just felt a bit mean. And compulsory service charges…grrr. We’re not in the US. They did have Greek music and dancing and the food was tasty (albeit very expensive for what it was). Wouldn’t go back or recommend.More
Quality food and service. Beautiful meal. Great experience. Fairly priced. Recommend making a reservation.
Found the place very tired and decor aged , service when we went in was ok and attentive however once we ordered we were ignored , but once we ordered too be fair the starters of a mezze was very nice dips and bread ,...however we ordered the souvlaki had lamb and my wife had chicken the chicken which I tasted was very dry and tasteless seasoning was lacking and my lamb was chewy and very fatty and again flavourless , very didsapounted as I had been recommended this place we will never returnMore
So I’ve been to this restaurant on a number of occasions and it’s been ok last Saturday myself and my daughter were walking past at about 13.30 there we’re only about 10 people in so it was empty we just fancied a couple of Keo...beers as we entered I just said to the waiter ok for just a drink he replied you can get a drink up the road I said yes but I can’t get Keo there tough you can’t just have a drink here we left I can understand if the place was full but it was empty I decided to email the manager twice and then the owner different email address twice nothing from either I hadn’t realised until I saw the reviews on this site how bad it was regarding customer service Greeks and Cypriots are proud of this the word for it is filoxenia hospitality in English unfortunately there is none here I’ll be back in Cyprus soon and I’ll get my Keo it will be interesting if i ever get a responseMore
I was here with my family and friends last night. The owner of the restaurant was extremely rude and made a very inappropriate joke, saying “are you here to wash the dishes”. Saying this to patrons paying a £130 pound bill sounds absurd. Being someone...from an ethnic minority I almost fell as if the owner was a racist, which is absurd considering the ethnic diversity in the city of Manchester. When the service charge was asked to be removed the owner was so threatening and nasty that he said don’t ever come back here again. The man was absolutely horrible and should not be in the hospitality industry. This was a shocking experience and I think restaurants of this calibre should not be allowed to run!! Extremely high service charge and threatening behaviour from the owner. I cannot believe this restaurant was rated highly. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE HOSPITALITY, DO NOT RUN A RESTAURANT.More
Best Greek food outside Greece. Excellent service, warned in advance about 10% service charge. Friendly and prompt. Good vegetarian selection.
Food was nice. When we all got the meals, as wrong ones delivered originally, most of the staff are good. Certain staff member was rude and aggressive with it being wrong in the order originally , it is a shame that members ruined our family...night. The restaurant had good entertainment, it is a shame about one member of staff .More
Food is great. Staff were very busy but took care of us very promptly. Can't fault the food it was delicous.
First time we came here and what a delight! Wish we would have stumbled across this earlier! What a lovely atmosphere, the service was excellent and the food…! The food was superb! We had the meat set menu for 2. Everything that was served was...delicious and cooked to perfection! Great place for family, friends and couples. What a place! Absolutely will be returning! Thank you for a fabulous evening!More
Absolutelly lovely place to visit. High mannerism, table cloth-candle light dinner in authentical Greek atmosphere. Waiting staff: professional, fast, paying attention to details, classy gentelmens, welcoming. Restaurant itself lovely , little rustic, tidy, classy. Food: absolutelly amazing. Delicious. All meals just screams at your face...that they are using only fresh vegetables , no canned food. Absolutelly wonderful . I loved everything about that restaurant, food, decor, staff, music. After visiting Rozafa i wasnt only full but also i felt emotionally purified ( staff and customers visiting well mannered , no vulgular language heard from tables around us) . We will definetelly visit this little GEM again.More
Disappointed. Food average at best. Moussaka very basic. Our other problem was one of the kitchen staff frequently walking through the restaurant with plastic tubs of raw meat. Certainly not what we wanted to look at while eating our meal.
I went to Rozafa on Sunday for my daughter’s 18th birthday. We all loved it, wonderful experience part of a special day. Thank you 😊
Stopped in here on a whim last night for some nibbles and a drink, ended up having a fantastic meze. Staff were excellent, and the food was phenomenal. With the temperature being quite warm sitting outside almost felt quite Mediterranean Would absolutely recommend and wouldn't...hesitate to returnMore
Until this visit, if anyone would ask me "What was your worst restaurant experience", I would find it difficult to answer. As I travel frequently, often for more than 6 months in a year, I have visited thousands of the restaurants and truly did not...have memorably bad experience. Now I can answer - it is Rozafa. We had our order mixed up and instead of squid the waiter did bring us prawns. This is not a huge thing, people do mix up the orders. If only he would apologise and offer to discount the check, or even just apologise - we would probably just let it go. But he made a scene of him being obviously right, and us were obviously wrong so I found it imperative to insist on receiving what we ordered. During the discussion that ensued, we found out that he worked in the place for 10 years and never took a wrong order, that no - the manager was not available and that we have to eat what he brought. The most annoying point is that it ended in nothing - the dish was replaced to the one we ordered, but the dinner was ruined. Note to the management: your back office may be perfect (and food was nice-no questions) but it is your waiting staff that can ruin the day. there are many options one have to validate the order - some places will repeat it back to you, some places use numbers and pictures in the menu. But for the sake of your client experiences - you will never be able to PROVE that you are right, unless you record the order - and even then, if you will insist - this will be the last time you have seen that patron. So, teach your waiters to say "sorry" and move on.More
