Lunchtime, quiet spot in the centre of all these craft shops. Drinks good, meal great. Really enjoyed this, plus clean toilets.

This small cafe is inside the Craft and Design Centre in the Northern Quarter. The whole centre is an oasis of peace in the heart of busy Manchester. There is a good selection of food and drink, whether you want tea and cake or lunch. I didn't have any cake, but they look homemade and delicious. My parsnip and cumin... More

Oak Street Cafe is a lovely little place hidden away from the hustle and bustle in Manchester's Arts & Crafts Centre. As another reviewer has stated, it really is a hidden gem of a place that I would highly recommend to others. The selection of drinks on offer is impressive and the food always looks fresh, nutritious and homemade. It... More

Absolutely lovely, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was great! There was a lot of vegan and gluten free options. The location and decor of the cafe restaurant was also very pleasant and based within an open art gallery. My girlfriend and I will definitely be returning.

Really lovely, homely food and friendly staff. The food menu offers something for everyone: meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans will all be satisfied! There only seemed to be two staff members working giving off a very homely atmosphere. The girl working on the front was very genuine and made us feel instantly comfortable. Amazing vegan brownie too!! Being in an... More

Lovely spot for lunch - the café does a range of daily soups and salads, all fresh and homemade. There's also a good menu of toasties and the cakes on the counter look delicious. Loads of veggie and gluten free options, and the menu gives you the chance to mix and match different items. We tried a lovely squash and... More

A hidden gem in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Inside the arts centre. It's a lovely place, the menu is simple and well presented. The specials are varied and interesting and the team are lovely. The price is good too. Highly recommend this place.

The chocolate hazlenut brownie was lovely. The only reason I have not put an excellent is that I went with my sister who ordered soup and i ordered cake (cake for lunch :)) and coffees. But they first brought out my coffee, then a good while later when i had nearly finished my coffee, my cake and then it took... More
