Not Quite ..

Wasn't really that impressed. First time I have visited. I did try to call them to ask if they were card only no option to check. The food we had was ok. I ordered clams but some looked like they had no actual clam in...the shell. However will give it the benefit of the doubt The rest was ok. My friends ordered a dessert and one didn't arrive. They were very busy but for me service slipped a bit. Not really inclined to go again.More

Amazing food.

OMG, the food here is to die for, especially the lamb parcels, had to order a second portion! Very reasonably priced and delicious authentic Spanish food.

It's always so good

Another super meal at Bar San Juan. This restaurant - Tapas Bar - is always so good. To be candid, I could not fault the meal tonight. Everything was cooked to perfection. The octopus is, as usual, just amasing We've dined here on a few...occasions, but this is one restaurant that never Disappoints.More

Best place to eat in chorlton

My favourite place to eat in chorlton! Everyone I know raves about it. the lamb parcels are just INSANELY good last time I went the monk fish was new on the menu I think but also well tasty and perfectly cooked. Good veggie options for...my sister and gorgeous red wine for me 🤣 bit gutted the omelette had gone from the menu but only because that was also SOOOOO goodMore

Like being in Spain

All I will say is the food is the best tapas I have experienced. Tried most items on the menu. I cannot say there was anything average. Everything was excellent ! Gambas, fillet and Croquettes 10:/10. Remaining dishes 9.75/10. Great atmosphere. Like being in Spain...!More

Great Tapas

Great food ,service, and atmosphere. A Spanish friend recommended this place and we were not disappointed! We tried lots of dishes, all were really good , the service was fast and there was a really good atmosphere .It's definitely worth a visit.

Overrated and unfriendly

Went here on recommendation, the tapas were average, sent a dish back because it was over salted and they tried charge for it on the bill and argued with me, not very good customer service.

Little bit of Spain in chorlton

This place is amazing the food is excellent just like being vin Spain Service great 👍 would highly recommend it's really busy but food comes out hot and very tasty

Good experience

Enjoyed my visit. Staff and service excellent. Tapas were excellent. Reminded me of when I lived in Spain. Only negative was the drinks prices at £5.90 for a pint of Estralla but will be back.

Excellent

I love Bar San Juan. Authentic Spanish tapas restaurant with great food, decor, attentive staff and good atmosphere. Small place and always busy no matter day or time. Must book in advance. Must order the goats cheese tomatoey vegetable dish and the bread with alioli....Small but excellent menu with lots of meat, fish, and veg options. Oo don't forget to order a jug of sangria too! Fun with friends or family, love this place.More

Spain in Manchester

Italy is my place , I love the food..ive never been to Spain...but ...wow this food is amazing, the staff are brilliant, and Juan...I know Heather and Paul visit often , and from now on...we will too...thank you and see you soon..

Oversold and won't be back

Small portions for what you pay and had better tapas choices elsewhere. Inside is rustic and not the most comfortable seating.

Pretty good.

Situated in a nice area of Manchester,lively atmosphere, not a great range of drinks.Very little room on our table to enjoy tapas but nevertheless the food was good and the service was efficient and friendly.
