About
Panchos Burritos started out on the streets as do all good taco stands in Mexico. After living in Mexico for some years Mexico City born Enrique and his Manchester born wife Colette decided to bring the taste of Mexico back to England. They started their own Burrito stand catering for friends parties and music festivals. At one of these festivals And they created Panchos Burritos. Based in Manchester city centre we have two market stalls in the busy Arndale Centre market and have been going strong there since January 2010. Enrique tries to keep it real using recipes passed on by his family in Mexico City. Fresh food is cooked on the stall every morning and by lunchtime the smell of delicious tasty Mexican food wafts around the marketplace. Meats are slow roasted in the oven then added to delicious freshly made salsas to be served with rice or on a burrito.

Worth a visit. Restricted with no seating due to Tier 3 but this did not detract from the experience.
Tacos were not available so went for the Nachos but meat was not available and had to pay additional despite it saying all extras included
My partners burrito was well filled.
Worth the price and would visit again

Went here today and Wow wow wow!! Ordered a burrito bowl and was impressed. Large selection of fillings then lots of very fresh salads and salsa and cheese and sour cream. Each one is made fresh to the eaters preference. One delicious tower of awesome Mexican food. This is a must go place when in Manchester

Excellent Mexican street food in the Arndale food market!! Top quality ingredients- the salsa and guacamole are so full of flavour and just the right amount of spice. Spotlessly clean. friendly and efficient staff. Excellent in its category.

I was thinking of writing a review on the Panchos burrito bowl that I just had as the food was really good but I found the staff to be really rude. Well blow me down, all the latest reviews are about rude staff. So it wasn’t just me! Talk about surly or pretending not to speak good English when it suits! The server charged me for a can of pop that I ordered with my burrito but when it wasn’t presented with my meal I queried it and thankfully I was proven right. Really sneaky. That said the food was absolutely delicious. 5 stars for food and 0 stars for service. Hence 3 stars over all to be fair.

Found this place while looking around the market, this is top Mexican food, I ate here for two days trying there menu out and all of it was very good, I have been to Mexico a few times and eating at panchos is just like been back in Mexico. The flavours are spot on. Reasonable prices and decent portions. Will be going back if in Manchester again. Yum yum...

Rude staff, I felt like I had done something wrong when I simply asked for a bag for my box and some spicy sauce. It's probably not their fault as he looked miserable - says more about the management than the staff themselves.
The burrito bowl itself was tasty but I would have preferred more veggie chilli and sides rather than a huge pile of rice (the sauce the meat was dripping in looked super tasty).
Huge portions if your looking for something very filling!
Chillangos on Oxford road is the best veggie burrito or burrito bowl in town for me.

Always loved Mexican food but never been huge on Burritos if I’m being honest. I am now a changed man. Genuinely made me smile biting into it when I realised it wasn’t going to be a disappointing carb-fest of rice and tortilla, but instead was filled with meat and chilli and tasted absolutely incredible. Highly recommend.

Not sure if the staff are underpaid or genuinely just unhappy in their job but the last two times I've visited Panchos I've been greeted with hostile customer service. It's a shame as it used to be my favourite place to go. They always seem to be hiring so I'm sure it's bad management. One girl in particular just seems completely unhappy to be there. I can see from other people's reviews that my experience is similar to others, I'm not sure what has happened.

Having lived in Mexico, I am constantly disappointed by the lack of authentic Mexican food in the UK. There IS none.....to be blunt. Except...for one tiny little place in the Arndale (of all places).
Ponchos, despite its humble location in the food court of a down-market shopping mall....is 100% genuine Mexican cuisine...and delicious. The owner is from Mexico, and it shows.
I can't recommend this place highly enough!

Absolutely love this place, id go as far as to say the best mexican street food in the north west. The burritos, tacos, salsa, guac, everything is unreal. After many attempts to find another mexican place on par with panchos, i have failed. The last place i tried was an insult. I live in Wakefield now and would happily make a trip back to manchester just to eat your food!!!

Got there a bit early for lunch. We were on a food tour. we had already been let down by another hyped food stall so we were hoping this was going to be good. It exceeded expectations, both our burritos were absolutely delicious. I thinks it's the best burrito I've had (and I always order burritos). I'm actually craving it now, wish I lived closer. Yumm

I feel that these burritos are by far the best in Manchester.
Fat, juicy, delicious. Good for quick, solo missions. Great value for money. It's so big, it will fill you up.
Bring back the mint water please :)

Unfortunately I have just visited and went to panchos to look at the menu. Before I had a second, the server asked what I wanted. I said I needed a minute to look and I’d come back in a second.
2 minutes later, I returned to order and she said sarcastically “sorry we’re shutting now”. The time was 5:53. There was a stack of food left, and other places in the centre were pleased to serve me.
What a disgraceful attitude and way to run a business.

Hands down the best burritos in Manchester. So many different options, all flipping delicious. And they sell lots of interesting, hard to find Mexican ingredients. Love it love it love it.

I've travelled around a fair bit and enjoy my food. I have to say Pancho's Burritos is a real treat! When in Manchester make a beeline here as the food is authentic, fresh, above all tasty! and did a mention extremely reasonably priced- including loyalty card! You'd have to be insane to miss out.
