Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small cosy environment , nice decor. Waitress slightly unprofessional as overfamiliar and doesn’t come across very knowledgeable of menu. Food was very tasty and I will certainly return and also recommend this place to people passing and local.

Came here with my longtime friend Che Engku Halim, Ana his wife and 2 sons. They came over to visit Manchester United the greatest club in the world. I was only too glad to book them for their Ikhtiar a lovely dinner here with the RPK and Marina's legacy. The Malaysian food here is currently the best in the Northwest. The menu also contains Thai and 'Western' cuisine. The chef was very friendly and made us felt special. There were many other guests in the other tables and they all seem to enjoy their food and the atmosphere. Definitely give this restaurant a visit if you love authentic Malaysian cuisine. I loved my mee udang!!!!

The food in this little Thai/Malaysian eatery is simply awesome. I enjoyed a rich Tom Ka Kai soup to start followed by a Thai Yellow Curry with chicken and steamed rice. Both were off-the-scale flavoursome. All washed down with two Tiger beers. The total price? An unbelievable £21.00!!
Go, eat, drink, enjoy. You won’t be disappointed.
Thoroughly recommended.

Went here with the family after it being recommended to us. Only us in on a weekend, 1 table on a weekend night. Service, food, drinks, just all not great. Rubber Fish Cakes and Smelly Duck (smelt like feet)! Not a great night.

Tried the takeaway menu and it did not disappoint x on parr with a really top restaurant we visited with the same kind of foods. Just a lil cheaper.
Extremely good value for money. Fast friendly service. Food is fresh hot and tasty. We've eaten this the last 2 weekends now as our Saturday entertainment nights during lockdown. Not too spicy and dependent on what you order. Your not overfaced and don't feel your eating a naughty takeaway. Go on.....give it a try....you'll love it 😀

The started portion was a decent size and not too bad (Thai fish cakes), but not hand made. They appeared to be mass produced stuff. The main was way too salty. I couldn't taste anything other than salt. Not impressed at all.

Never had Malaysian food before but would most certainly return here. The food was very tasty and beautifully cooked. The service was excellent the staff very helpful explaining every dish. The bill at the end of the night was far lower than we expected.

This was our second time eating from Gossip. The first was a delivery but we drove 70 miles out of our way to return and visit the restaurant. Absolutely amazing food. Well cooked, well spiced. Phenomenal service and recommendations. Virtually no waiting time and all dishes timed perfectly to table. The prices are extremely reasonable. 3 mains, 2 starters, 4.drinks. £48. I sincerely regret that we live so far away, or we'd be very fat and very happy, dining there multiple times a week.

We have eaten here at Gossip several times using the Meerkat 241 offer.
Had delicious starters and mains. Piping hot and full of authentic Thai and Malaysian flavour, served in a relaxed street food atmosphere.
Gossip offers great value for money food and drink, a hidden gem!

We dined in the restaurant. Friendly, efficient service, which was helpful as neither of us had eaten Malaysian food before. There was about a 20 minute wait between for the food, as it is all cooked to order. However this does improve the quality of the food. Particularly enjoyed the roti and the beef rending, although this is very spicy.

Been craving for a Thai food after our return from Thailand. The place was empty when we get there around 4PM. So it does make us think twice to stay or not. We decided to stay because we cant be bother to find other place to go to. Im glad we decide to stay because the food is gorgeous. The guy that take our order also very helpful. We had murtabak, tomyam for starter and green curry and mee mamak for main. The only negative i can give for this place is that. its a bit cold in the restaurant and we had to keep out coat on.

I had an amazing dining experience at Gossip thanks to Lucy's exceptional service. The Rendang, satay, murtabak, and Pad Kra Pao were all delicious and I highly recommend trying them. Five stars all around!
