heard about new menu/chef at Jam St, thought we'd give it a whirl-totally impressed, all dishes executed brilliantly, service a bit shaky but pleasant enough, tables need sorting, but would highly recommend and will defo be going back

Went on Sunday for breakfast with friends. Service extremely slow. Meals all came separately after an hour wait. Apologies were made but blame on toaster not working. Didn't make much sense to be honest. Meals average but didn't come as said on menu. Said on fry up fried egg but scrambled came instead. Was asked if worth the wait. Not... More

I've tried the pork belly and the steak and the bass from the mains. All excellent. The crabcakes starter are mighty fine too. Its cost upstairs and the staff are friendly and helpful. They serve good real ale plus a decent selection of wine. There is also a bar downstairs and the veggie breakfast is one if my favourites in... More

We had a buffet arranged for family & friends after a funeral. The food was superb which included chicken, salmon and lamb. The service was excellent with very courteous staff. The whole place was booked for us, there was two floor with a huge bar and dining area. I would definitely recommend this establishment for any occasion.

Went here for Sunday lunch with friends. We chose here as it was do local and wanted to support it. We all ordered the Sunday lunch in variations. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. It was barely warm. And just had very little about it.

Where to start.....? On a cold and wet Saturday (just gone) we received the warmest of welcomes from Lance, followed by Kal and the rest of the team. The newly decorated place was very inviting and soon, the smells coming from the kitchen got everyone's juices flowing. THE most delicious food was served, buffet style to exacting specifications for a... More

Sat in the jam street cafe I can't help but feel at home with the little decorations littering the walls and the aroma of coffee all around me. Enjoyed a beautiful steak sandwich with chips (see pic) and probably the best coffee I've had in a long time. There is a variety of food on offer and even a full... More

Popped into jam street couple weeks ago with a friend, never been in before but was pleasantly surprised! Food came out fast considering what sort of menu they have there as sometimes that sort of food can take awhile with my experience of restaurant type places. ordered the sweet potato risotto and my friend ordered the lamb & feta burger,...
