Right, if you come to Fazenda, you are a meat eater, no question about it.
This place is nice, very nice. As you walk in, the staff are fantastic, offering to take your brolly (it was raining when we went!) and gave you a cloakroom...ticket. They take you to you table and if you havent been before, they explain in detail how they work.
The passadores (waiters) are very polite here, they walk round with a smile and some even with a massive grin! There is just a feel good factor here. They keep an eagle eye on your red/green table "thingy" - green means you want meat, red means you dont, very straight forward. The meats, even the lunch menu, are to die for. They are cooked succulently, remains juicy and at times, you feel as if they are force feeding you!
The salad bar feels like a slighty posher affair. A wide variety of items on here, greens, smoked fishes, prawns, cheeses, pretty decent selection.
The sides are also relatively posher. If there is a downside, then they are generously seasoned, ie, liberally salted!
We do like it here. The quality of the meats are very good, evening menu can feel a tad on the expensive side (where isnt expensive in Manchester these days???), but this place is more of a celebration/treat rather than a regular eatery. Very little hesitation not to come here again. Its great!More
