I think this is one of the best brasseries we have eaten all over the whole of France - yes, that's including Paris and Lyon. The Best Western Bristol is the hotel above this ground floor restaurant ,right outside the station (actually a 10 minute walk from the old centre and the walk is worth it. When you go in... More

This restaurant was much better than expected! After reading mixed reviews I was a bit hesitant. However it was delicious!!!! The snails were the best I had in France. The fillet and steak medallions were cooked to perfection. Would go back next time in Colmar.

Ate here with a group twice within 4 days. Stayed at the Best Western which is attached. Our first experience was good, tasty food and a great atmosphere. It's a very popular and busy place. You would need to book, they were turning people away even on a Monday evening. Our 2nd meal was pretty awful. As a group we... More

We ate here twice during our 4 day stay at a B&B near the train station...easy walk. I would recommend making reservations as this is a very busy restaurant. It seems this restaurant is used by bus tours...which isn't a problem because the restaurant is large enough to accommodate a lot of people, and the servers and kitchen staff are... More

I stayed in the hotel to which this is attached. The brasserie was very busy but the staff made me feel welcome. I had some of the alsace food and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is reasonably priced wine too.

We looked forward to dining here, and while we arrived too early for dinner, we sat outside for a glass of wine - it was the worst I have ever had - tasted like it was extremely watered down. We went back during the dinner hour, and we ordered the Chateabriand for two and a friend ordered another dish. The... More

Having arrived late in the evening from Switzerland, we decided to have dinner directly after checking into the Grand Hotel Bristol. We scouted around the area and decided on the L'Auberge as it looked bustling on a weekday evening when other places around the train station looked quiet, and besides it was on the Michelin guide. Being our first night... More

As we were on a prepaid tour, the dinner choices were limited. However, the traditional Alsatian food served were tasty and served by an attentive waitress. Traditional surroundings, by worth a visit.

Whilst staying in the Best Western Hotel next door we ate our evening meal in the Brasserie. The food was nothing exceptional though the wine was excellent. Even though we were in the Hotel and walked through from it, we couldn't simply add anything we had to the room bill and had to pay before leaving. Never had that before......
