Went here for dinner last night. The food was not good, my steak was highly over cooked. My girlfriends fish tasted bland, the salad dressing was terrible. The service itself was not better, we are still waiting for the bread the waiter wanted to bring. Always terrible when you come out of a restaurant and know you could do it... More

Very good food, but huge portions. Sitting along the canal makes it a good location to have dinner. Service was very good and friendly.

Reading some of the other english reviews I will agree they were not overly warm. But they spoke English a big plus and I appreciate that. So not every culture is over the top in the warm and friendly department. We got our food, we were told very succinctly how tipping works by the owner..and the waiter had a similar... More

If you're looking for a light green salad, this is your place! The owner was total piece of work, but the solitary green salad we ordered was delicious, and just the refuge we needed from the relentless bread, meat, and cheese we couldn't escape at other restaurants.

There were 5 of us for lunch. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Restaurant was busy and they handled it well. I had the french onion soup it was wonderful, some ordered fish and it was very good. Everyone was very happy with our choice of places to eat as we were not familiar with the area. Bathroom was... More

The view while eating here is beautiful right on the canal. Food however was less than average and presentation was very poor. Over priced but guess because of location people like we were are drawn to eating here. Would not return here there are much nicer friendlier places to eat.

With seating on the canal in nice weather, the view is quite good. The special treat was the foie gras made on the premises. It had a touch of basil, which made it a little out of the ordinary, and it was very tasty.

First, we wanted to try Le Comptoir de Georges but is closed for the day, so we go for Les Bateliers. The view is fantastic, food is just average, and the service is bad.

Presentation of the dishes were nice, but average taste. One of the worst service experience I have ever had. To be honest those waiters don't have least respect to their jobs and to their customers.and stealing the efforts of the chef. We arrived there at the opening hour at 18:30 with my eight years old daughter. I was planning to... More
