The service is incredibly slow, we waited more than an hour for our food, which was average at best. The decor is depressing.

It's nice to have a veggy option. Tasty food. The bread with cheese was awesome. The cardamomo dessert surprised us. I'm sure we will go back next time in BDX.

We turned up, on time, were seated at a table and then waited over 30 minutes before getting a drink, we ordered our food and then waited another 45 minutes before getting anything to eat. The food was very tasty, not sure it was worth the wait though. All other tables in the restaurant appeared to be waiting the same... More

Small restaurant best to book, food is probably the best Indian food I have eaten in France. Service excellent, I will make it a regular stop when in Bordeaux.

We just walked in and had a great meal. It is just a green door and we weren't sure that it was open. Only choice was a chicken or veggie entrée and we got 1 of each. There were so many delicious flavors on 1 plate. Mouth watering. Great break from French food.

We were just strolling along and saw that the little hole in the wall was an India restaurant. I am so happy we went in. The waitress spoke little English and I little French. We managed and I had a wonderful vegetarian plate. I agree with previous description of explosion of tastes. It was wonderful!

I've eaten here often as I can't get enough. There isn't a huge selection on the menu but as you get so many taste explosions on your plate that doesn't matter. I'll continue to take my visiting guest here as I'm never disappointed. Their special nan breads are a must. Bon appétit

We had heard great things about Le Malabar, but never could get a table. Last weekend, with 24 hourslead, we had the chance. I reccomend the 18 euro menu, plenty of food, very authentic, very tasty! But you can order a la carte for around 12 euro per entree. Small and cosy, with a large room in the vaulted cave... More

I read the reviews that said don't be pressed for time but waiting 2 hours for your food is just ridiculous. Another couple that came in after us walked out after they'd waited so long but we stayed because of good reviews about the food. No apologies, no explanation of delays, opens at 8.30pm so we didn't start eating until... More
