This place was just near our hotel and each night had queues, due our curiosity we went in. Such a pleasant surprise, a set menu of steak and as many frites as you could each - the food is good and the place is lots of fun

Always the same menu for twenty euros. The meat is excellent and the french fries are good. The starter salad is very good also. Besides that you cannot get much more.

Location: It was very easy to find. Time to go: I first tried to dine during lunch time and the queue was too long. As I was only visiting Bordeaux for 2 nights, I decided to come back later in the day. My friends and I turned up after 9pm on a Saturday night and yes, there was a queue... More

Were staying the vicinity and saw a line prior to restaurant opening, so we came back about an hour later. Keeping in mind that we were there in low season, we kind of were milling around the front door and told us go on in you'll love it. I'm usually not an all you can eater, but the joint was... More

What can I say that has not already been said. When told that 20 mins before opening there would be a queue half way round the block I didn't quite believe it. But it's true and that's every day and once you experience it you see why. Simply the best steak frites you will ever eat.

A crowd of locals was standing in front of the establishment. We had to wait in line for 20 Minutes. We were recommended this place from a local place. Had no expectation and ... what a surprise! You have no choice, no menu, no waste of time. You receive delicious and tender meat and tasty "real" French fries bathing in... More

Yes it's a bit touristy but on the day we went there were just as many Bordeaux residents as visitors from out of rown queuing to get into this very popular and busy restaurant.. The steaks are superb. The service brisk and friendly and it's a buzzing, fun atmosphere. Probably not the place for a romantic meal a deux but... More

I have never been anywhere quite like this. The waitress gave me a choice of two options for main course. Medium , or medium rare. I then sat and waited for one of the best steak eating experiences ever

Popular restaurant for their meet deals. Good quality at a very affordable price. You can't book in advance, so there always is queue in front of the restaurant.

The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is a decked slice of sirloin of 170 grams accompanied by french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened a restaurant in Toulouse in 1962, in Bordeaux in 1966, in Nantes in 1980, in Montpellier in 1990, and finally, in Lyon in 1999. These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural, a lemon yellow topping and hostesses dressed with yellow apron and black blouse. The exterior is beautified by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for the best effect.
