Yes it's a bit touristy but on the day we went there were just as many Bordeaux residents as visitors from out of rown queuing to get into this very popular and busy restaurant.. The steaks are superb. The service brisk and friendly and it's a buzzing, fun atmosphere. Probably not the place for a romantic meal a deux but... More

I have never been anywhere quite like this. The waitress gave me a choice of two options for main course. Medium , or medium rare. I then sat and waited for one of the best steak eating experiences ever

Popular restaurant for their meet deals. Good quality at a very affordable price. You can't book in advance, so there always is queue in front of the restaurant.

One of our most enjoyable nights out, great atmosphere, buzzy, great house wine, good service,, worth queuing for 15 mins - but that was in January, just after New Year! It's large inside, and you get sent to different floors according to how many people will sit at the table. My only complaint was that as it filled it, it... More

You'd be surprised with how long the line snakes, but once you see everyone happily enjoying their steak and frites, you'll understand well why it's worth the wait. Things here are simple: the waiter serves up a salad, then the steak (done to your liking) with that glorious sauce with a huge helping of frites or fries. Easy, quick, and... More

At first I was very skeptical about this restaurant, as I don't like to queue and have never queued until I went to this place as my wife really insisted to eat there. We waited about 30 min for a table for 3 persons acutally 2 adults and one child. Menu is 19 Euros per person and that includes salad,... More

No bookings. Just queues. So what? Worth it. Some of the best tasting steak I have had in a long time. Saw the queue. Joined it. Are. Had fun. Didn't get ripped off. Enjoy. Hotel next door (Quatre Sœurs) in a great location too.

The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is a decked slice of sirloin of 170 grams accompanied by french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened a restaurant in Toulouse in 1962, in Bordeaux in 1966, in Nantes in 1980, in Montpellier in 1990, and finally, in Lyon in 1999. These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural, a lemon yellow topping and hostesses dressed with yellow apron and black blouse. The exterior is beautified by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for the best effect.
