I had the seafood pasta and my husband had steak, these were the most enjoyable meals we had eaten in Bordeaux, the sweets were very nice and generous portions, the wine was very well kept and the service was brilliant, thank you for making our last evening so memorable and enjoyable!

Lovely steak dinner for me and fish/seafood pasta dish for my wife. Desserts were fine and available wine choices were good. Nice environment and good service. Would definitely recommend this as a place to eat which is head and shoulders above the bars/cafes/restaurants that surround it.

We arrived late evening in Bordeaux and accepted our hotel's recommendation about a place to eat. The restaurant is central - just off Place Gambetta. We went for the basic menu - gazpacho, fish with roasted vegetables and the restaurant's recommendations on a good Bordeaux white. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was friendly, nearly exclusively French and overall quite... More

A small but well situated restaurant off the main drag. Good variety and quality of food. Le Scoop menu is very good value and the sharing menu is huge. Although the tables are close together outside, it allows you to communicate with other diners, who are mostly French. The staff are very efficient and friendly which makes for a thoroughly... More

Well-situated, in the side street off a main square and away from most of the noise and passing pedestrians. We dined outdoors and the warm weather made for a pleasant dining experience. The staff were pleasant and helpful and provided us with an English version of the menu. We did not have starters. My husband’s main course was veal sweetbreads... More

Great place! Good food, reasonable price and friendly staff! We had the salad de foie gras de carnard which was wonderful! As a bonus... Only 20 meters from our hotel!

This was the only restaurant I went back to during my stay in Bordeaux - it was too good not to. The deep fried monkfish wrap with rocket salad was the best meal of the whole trip, and of course they have a great choice of local wines. The staff were all so friendly and smiling, the whole experience was... More

This small restaurant is located in a quiet street off Cours de l'Intendance. The ambience is warm and the service is friendly. The menu offers an excellent variety of dishes and the prices are very reasonable. I have eaten here twice and on both occasions I was overjoyed with the service, the quality of the dishes and the bill. I... More

Great atmosphere, smiling service, home made food at great prices. This small restaurant offers a 3 course lunch or dinner or 16 euros and it is good!
