Food was just ok. we had a set menu..great deserts, but fish soup starter seemed tasteless. Good selection of Wines but way overpriced.

We spent an absolutely fantastic evening at the Brasserie du Sillon: lovely food throughout, a stunning view across the beach and the bay, a perfect service (excellent sense of humour), a very good wine selection and everything was very reasonably priced. We will go back as soon as in Saint Malo again.

We arrived in St Malo around 7 pm, after a long drive from Paris, hungry and unfamiliar of the surrounding...The hotel we stay is right in the middle of commercial center, but despite the early hours, seemed everything has already closed. My husband browsed in the internet and found this brasserie listed. So we went there. The restaurant is not... More

We stood in a hotel nearby and tried the restaurant on our first night in Saint-Malo. Location, choice of food and service were good but food quality not as high as other seafood places we have tried during our trip. Price-quality ratio ok.

Contrary to website, the restaurant was open for continuous service noon to 11:00pm. We were able to get a table at 6:30, it would have been impossible at 7:00. We enjoyed good oysters, and correct service from staff. Main fish dishes were not to my liking: for me, cream sauce does not suit tuna and chorizo overpowers dorade. Excellent Kouign... More

We enjoyed our visit (I would give it 3.5 out 5 but could only give 3 or 4). Food was nice and it came out quickly, which was good as we sat down quite late. My shrimp was very fresh and my husband had the oysters which he enjoyed. The cod and sea bream were our next courses and also... More

Granted it was a Monday evening when many of the better restaurants are closed and the place was quite busy and short staffed, someone needs to suggest to the wait staff two things: 1. A smile goes a long way to soften harsh edges and 2. Extend some patience with patrons who have limited French. Accordingly I am reticent to... More

We were ten for lunch, over looking the beach with a rough sea......that wasn't the only thing that was rough! They run out white wines,we had to changes wines four times....service was shocking, food was terrible. Fruit de Mer had been frozen and left to thaw out.....it was stinking! All main curses were over cooked and No seasoning...disaster! € 1000 for this,I... More

Thankfully the restaurant staff were accommodating of my poor French and were able to seat us for their 7o'clock dining session. While we missed out on window seating our view of the sea and sunset were virtually unobscured because of the way they place the tables. A great dining experience with great food and ambience. We loved watching the sea... More

The restaurant is overpriced. Some of the staff were pretentious and a little snobby. I did not feel we got value for the money.
