We enjoyed a lovely lunch at Timothy's. Though the restaurant was fully booked when we arrived, the staff was friendly and helpful and booked us a table (for 8) in 30 min. The dishes were good, but the dessert was the real star of the meal. It was simply amazing, we tried some of the cakes and the mixed ice-cream... More

Lunchtime.....6 on a day trip to the lovely city of St Malo. The party was split on what we all fancied for lunch. An early morning examination of many menus Timothy appealed to all. A 1pm return we found that the restaurant was full but the lovely staff invited us to return in 20mins for a table for 6. True... More

Able to sit outside and have galettes and, eventually, chips which they forgot. Was with my grandson who said his was OK but not as good as stalls on local market. Ice cream for dessert - not really tempted by enormous cakes displayed in window behind us. A great many passers-by stopped and took photos of the gateaux! Reasonable food;... More

Partner and I went here for a crepe and hot drink instead of dinner on a Sunday night. Coffee was a bit cold and pretty poor. Crepe was good but far too sweet even for my sweet tooth. My issues were largely service and staff disinterest. Took ages to serve us and again for food to arrive once ordered. The... More

The excellent reviews made me visit this place, I would describe my whole experience as indifferent. Drinks were poor and food not great, OK if you are desperate but St Malo is full of places to eat and drink.

Great! Food always good and recent renovation is such an upgrade. All food is made 'maison' and stick to traditional dishes. Artisan cakes, crepes, buckwheat galettes and ice cream.

We went here because the cakes looked AMAZING!! we had some crepes which were ok, but had food envy as the table next to us ordered fries and steak which looked and smelled great! We did not end up having any cake as the crepes were very filling. The cakes were huge, but quite pricy (about 10 euros for a... More

So here's the deal. My wife and her two kids stop in here for a coffee with the idea of buying a big cake to takeaway for a family meal. The coffee was disgusting and when my wife told the waitress she was told that that was how they served coffee. Total disrespect and disregard for the customers. Obviously no... More

Incredible cakes you won't even be able to finish, but don't worry: they'll let you take them home! Great value for price and very kind staff.

It took 15 minutes to get a cold coffee. When I asked the service for attention there came no answer. The service was very unfriendly.
