Situation at the entrance of the ancient city it's convenient if you don't have any idea what to eat. We ordered the three tier seafood. The quality is average. One of the crabs is not fresh. I would spend some effort researching on where to eat next time.

I went to st malo and I really want to do a review of the town itself to say that I enjoyed walking around it and seeing the boats as well as eating ice cream to It is also a nice town to do a bit of shopping as well and I just like the buildings of france and the... More

I was turned away from the brasserie they were not prepared to serve me in an area that was accessible for a wheelchair user despite there being several tables available they would only serve food to people who could go up a step into the main dining area

Chosen after a lot of perusing, we weren't disappointed. We chose from the "formule" menu, of which there were 5 covering different price ranges. Although heavily fish biased, there was enough of a choice for this non fish eater to enjoy a satisfying meal. The staff were efficient and using the electronic ordering system, were able to advise the kitchen... More

Day trip from Jersey, had a lovely lunch at Cafe St Malo, can recommend trio of fish, fish soup, languoustines and floating islands desert. Wine menu great, had a good bottle of Pouilly Fume. Staff excellent.

4 of us wanted a lunch here. We wanted seafood but my partner does not eat fish and has a limited diet due to multiple health problems. We found a perfect menu for him on the children's menu. It was chicken and chips. When we came to order, the waitress totally refused to serve us, because he was not a... More

I've just spend a few days in St Malo and as a vegetarian who does not really like galettes it isn't easy to find a variety of meals in France. The menu at Cafe de St Malo's pizzeria looked good so I tried it one evening. I think my choice was called Quatre Saisons and it was really delicious. Very... More

We went there last week for a late lunch. Not sure if it was too late (they should have said). Grumpy waiter, despite speaking French so no excuse for his behaviour. Ordered a coco cola and receive a cola. A bottle of water and cola came after the food and that was on asking twice. Fois Gras starter was no... More

Probably the worst service I've ever had. So bad in my last visit two years ago it was hilarious. Funny enough to make me go again yesterday and I'm glad to say things haven't improved. Last time the waiter managed to throw cutlery onto the table while another took so little interest in his customer while pouring a glass of... More

Eight of us visited Cafe St Malo and we had a super time. The restaurant is right opposite the main entrance to the city. The food and service were very good without being totally memorable, but very acceptable for all that. The food was plentiful but did not hit the high spots as French food can. The staff were friendly... More
