Quite easy to find just outside the city walls. attractive decor, kind feminine service, good wine list and especially good value for the sophisticated and delicious food. Only one dish might one not like: the pluma of porc belly, an "in" ingredient to be sure but rather fatty. The Menu for 32 Euros is one of the better deals for... More

Great restaurant with local food. Not super fancy, but good place to have dinner. No need to say but there's no way to make mistakes with the wine, anything in the menu is great.

Food was excellent. Decorations were very modern. Wine selection was extensive. Location was a bit out of the way but easy to locate just outside the old city walls of Beaune.

Very nice lunch with good wines. Menu was nice even though the fish dish was very small and nothing special. Great desserts!

Based on the recommendations and their online menu we had high expectations. And although the food and service were good we weren't delighted. We had the menu including selected wines for €63 and ended up with a bill around €135 for two. The quality of the food was very good however very little dishes really excelled. The wines themselves were... More

I was there with my family for dinner. My hotel suggested me to go there for dinner. The welcome was great. They offer us a starter and a glass of fine wine for me because they think they were a little bit late with our plate. We also received some sweeties with the after dinner tea. Food was really great.... More

While walking and looking for an interesting place for dinner, we found Le Cheval Noir and were by no means disappointed. Classic menu with some unique variety. Comfortable setting and great service.

This was our second visit, this time we went because it was one of the only very good restaurants in Beaune which was open on Sunday evening in late September. It was FULL, not surprising really, which makes one think that the others are missing a trick or can't be bothered or are making too much money anyway. We like full... More

My wife and I enjoyed our dinner here. The food was presented well and tasted great. The service was excellent, and the wine list was reasonably priced. I would definitely dine her again.
