We wanted to have the local specialities. The concierge at our hotel recommended Porte Guillaume. We had what we came for --- snails andjambon persillé a nd coq au vin to follow. A fine meal accompanied by a good Burgundy from the wide wine menu. The personnel was friendly and effective. We came out satisfied with a very reasonable bill.

We ate here while in Dijon on a Sunday as the options were limited. The service at this place is very good maybe even a little over the top for someone like me but still good. As for the food it was average, the chicken was dry while the beef was pretty good, the crepes were a bad way to... More

Good dinner, not exceptional, but it deserves four "bullets" for the very reasonable price - 29 eurs for a 3 course meal (entrée, main, dessert/fromage). The oeufs poché in Burgundy sauce were excellent, the trout fillet was ordinary. Good cheese selection, and the wine list is quite rich, with honest prices. Elegant ambient and good service.

Went here due to the reasonable reviews and the fact that it is one of the few places open on a Sunday. Service was unfriendly and didn't serve the sparkling water that I asked for but still tried to charge me for it the end. For €24 for entree and main, I got served a lackluster ham terrine for entree... More

Came here for brunch and was not disappointed. Very upscale but with affordable prices. The staff and service were excellent. The food divine. The eggs in burgundy sauce was terrific. All the food was excellent including the dessert.

We were able to get reservations 30 minutes from the time we called. Restaurant is nicely decorated. Staff spoke some English. I began my meal with the poached eggs in a red wine sauce... this was undoubtedly one of the best things I have ever eaten and a surprising Burgundy discovery. The beef bourginone was rather tough and I did... More

I had a really nice lunch here, the waiters were gentle and the food was delicious. I'd tried the snails for the first time and I can say they were marvelous! Definitely a great choice for everyone who is decided to well spend more than 50 euros per person.

It started when I asked the waitress if she spoke english. She asked if I spoke french. I said no and asked, in french, if she could slow down as she was talking 90 mph so i cold try to understand aND she waked away. The service was cold the chicken Coq auvin way over cooked as we're the rest... More

At the entrance to a Quality Inn hotel (we almost did not enter). Then upon looking through the windows and seeing a truly authentic French dining room we knew it should be good and it was. We chose a set menu E24 and a la carte. Fresh vegetable salad had a lot of cheffiness about it and a marvellous taste.... More
