Food was ok. But the waitress was a disaster! Felt sorry for chef! Skip if you have an alternative. Ordered a salad and had to wait ages to get salt and pepper! They forgot my husbands' starter. Waitress kept asking what we had ordered!

Dijon has many excellent restaurants, The nice thing is when you stumble on a place - without extensive research - and find excellent food. We were wondering around town and stopped to make a call next to the restaurant - looking in I saw many locals having a good time in a very attractive dining room. We went in and... More

The moment we arrived, the warm greeting was very welcoming and the service that followed was just brilliant The food from the set menu was also of high standard Starter and main was regional food cooked to perfection. Portion size is more then generous for a lunch so in my opinion great value indeed. The waiter that served us was... More

Le Declic was a great place to have a casual lunch, and relax for a bit. We liked it immediately because it was filled with French people, and not tourists. The staff were welcoming, and were happy to speak in French (and we appreciated not being handed English menus!). The kids loved their meals, which were classic menu enfant fare.... More

We stumbled upon Le Declic while driving through the old city on a very hot day. What luck! I had the celebrated local Jambon Persille (coarsely chopped ham and parsley, molded and served cold) and my wife had the fish du jour, a local river fish fillet with a White wine sauce and mushroom risotto. Both were excellent. We shared... More

I had an omelette which is simple in general. This one was delicious and the vegetables which accompanied it were even better. Go there!!

My friend and I were visiting Dijon for the day and at first popped in for a coffee, the numerous "réservé" signs on the tables outside meant we were offered a table inside. We quickly realised this was a place where the locals go and decided to eat lunch there too. The very friendly waiting staff appeared to know everyone... More

We stayed in Dijon for week and had 6 breakfasts and one lunch here and really enjoyed them all. The coffee was very good which is by no means always the case in France and the food we chose was always well presented and tasty. Both the food and wine were good value. Recommended.

Stayed over in Dijon on our way to Avignon and this was the perfect place to eat. Atmosphere was very local and nice. Highly recommend considering the plate du jour as ours was excellent. Staff was very helpful and accommodating to our poor French speaking. Very busy but we were fortunate to get a table for three. Have saved this... More

nothing illegal here but the one salad that I ordered, I can say the ingredients were of very low quality. And the cooking is slobby and rustic. no feeling for the customer: having seen me barely touch the dish, the waitor was completely aloof and indifferent of my apparent disception.
