We had dinner her after seeing the beautiful chateau, expecting something special given the Michelin star of the restaurant and the price tag of 60 euros. We were a bit disappointed - some dishes were average, and while some were good there was a feeling that the restaurant is trying to just be fancy enough to deserve the Michelin star.... More

Set in the centre of this small village, this hotel offers most comfortable rooms with excellent en suite facilities. The rates are not inexpensive but for a romantic stop this is not to be missed. Very helpful reception and a good breakfast is offered. Amusingly the breakfast plates are very small necessitating several trips to the buffet - well that... More

Beautiful setting. Food and service were top notch. Perhaps a bit on the pricy side for the locale. Staff's command of English was very good.

We spent 18 days in France and lunch here was in the top 3 best of our trip! The service, atmosphere and food were top notch. We ate in a beautiful light filled garden view room that was perfect. The food was inventive, beautiful and delicious. We had mushroom soup, 72 hour cooked pork shoulder and a berry dessert that... More

We loved the food we tried and it was a great value for money. Service was also very attentive to details. Highly recommended.

We just had dinner here. It was absolutely hands down the best meal I've had in France! This is the end of our 9 day vacation and I had hoped for food just like this. We were famished after driving from Mont Saint Michele and had a 7pm reservation. My Husband and I both got the prefix set menu (52Euros)... More

Wonderful setting and while the food is not Star quality it is reasonably good. The service however is far from acceptable for an establishment that holds itself out as a top tier restaurant. There were six tables in the portion of the dining room we were seated in, five of them had only two diners. We expected a wait between... More

Mrs & Mr Wallace, Thank you for your nice comment!!! Have you been upset when we nicely showed you the way to the garden for picnic whereas you were seating with your own wine bottles with the clients of the bar? You went to the restaurant the day after for dinner and we knew already that you would have been... More

The restaurant has great food. Don't forget to finish the dinner with their great selection of cheeses.

Came for lunch and took the discovery menu with a small bottle of Pouilly. Great food, subtle flavours, friendly service, nice environment. A find in this small town. Recommended as a quiet moment in combination with a visit to the busy and crowded chateau.
