Our only disappointing meal in Orleans, the only beer was expensive bottled Budweiser, and service that night was slow. The menu was uninspiring and my steak when it came was not very tender; The most expensive wine list of our trip. Poor value.

The set menu was reasonable value compared to others. The atmosphere very pleasant. The Viognier house wine quaffable. The tureen starter was delicious. However the brochettes were not cooked as ordered (rare) and the veal was far too salty.

On the first night of our holiday we stopped over in Orléans on a wonderful evening. We found the city bustling with activity and saw lots of nice places to eat. We chose this Bistrot randomly but it did not disappoint us. The entries were surprisingly tasty: a good paté de canard with fresh salad. As the terrace became quickly... More

We had a great meal here: three courses, an amazing white, red and dessert wine, great service, really nice people. Menu is typically french, most of the standard expected dishes on here. Highly recommended.

... at least for 15 Euro without sides. We went into this place because it looked very promising qua space and ambience. It turns out, they only do burgers for mains - that is fine with us, because we love burgers. When somebody is only doing burgers for main dishes and asking 15 to 18 Euros for them, I do... More

The place has a nice ambience, it is not a pub or a creative and trendy place. Not a very elegant one either but is fine for a business or for a romantic dinner, too. The service was slow due to one person serving all tables. The food was good (lamb, ham and starters), however the fish was not fresh... More

Small restaurant, food good though the quality varies as noticed after visiting a few times. I tried the entrecote which looked good however it was rather tasteless and tough. My friends had scallops (at 5 euros each!), duck confit was the best choice - tender flesh with crispy skin. Agreed with the delicious gratin dauphinoise Bookings recommended as limited tables,... One of the best gratin dauphinois I ever had. Very good reco for the wine and good food. A place to recommend in Orleans.

I have never experienced such a money grubbing chief. We asked for a table on the terrace and were seated and ordered some desserts and drinks. After 15 minutes a group of around 8 people came and unfortunately there was not enough space for them at the terrace. As soon as the boss realized this, the waitrice came and asked... More

looks inviting and has a good range of menu options. food was good, however it was one of those restaurants where the waitress was busy socialising with the passers-by rather than serving us.
