Excellent cuisine and service but outrageous wine price list. Dagueneau Sancerre at €150...! Other wines affordable.

Visited previously and always had a great experiences. However, this time round the place is in need of a shape up. Meal was good but not to the previous standards that justifies the price. Service was terribly slow and aloof, cooks spends most of his time hanging around in the restaurant but not helping with the service or taking care... More

Nice restaurant located just off the main square in Tours' old city. The inside is a bit too formal in the summer heat, but they also have a few tables outside - you get the same food, minus the white tablecloth and other unnecessary frills when the evening temperature still overs around 30 degrees Celsius. Try the fish dishes.

A great use of spices in classy fusion cooking - everything really fresh, imaginative and done well. Friendly and professional service and good advice on an excellent wine list.

The food was excellent but one restaurant is more than food. The place was very simple without fantacy and decor. The food was very nice (for the food i would give a 5) but also very expensive (we paid for 2 without starters and only 2 glasses of wine 115 euro). Is nice to go once but not every week!

So this was a tough Resturant to rate. The meal was so so, but the dessert was very good. The Resturant is in the old town section and was nice. Outdoor seating and perfect weather. We had a party of 20 so service rating probably isn't fair, but it was quite slow. Menu was rather limited, we ordered off the... More

We had a good lunch here, with an excellent starter. Service was very friendly. Main dish with fish was received with mixed feelings. I liked it but my company didn't like the beans wich were served with the fish.(question of taste) Desert was also very tasty. Overall a very good experience.

The restaurant was too expensive for the food and was really nothing special. Be aware of the insane taxi prises if going to/from Tours.

I stumbled upon Barju for lunch and it was one of the best meals that I have ever had in my entire life. I chose the lunch fixed menu which is a bit pricey - more than 20 euros - but ended up being well worth it. The fish was extremely fresh, the service excellent, and I was the only... More
