Had a great evening in this Art Deco designed restaurant that has recently changed hands. Last went there 5 years ago and the restaurant has lost none of it's charms but has benefited from the interior being refreshed. Enjoyed excellent Oysters followed by perfectly cooked Cod served in a light cream based sauce that was almost a foam, delicious ! New... More

The food is not extraordinary but the surroundings make it taste even better. I would say sit in the first floor which is more nicely decorated. If you can, try to go on when the food market opposite it is open - Wed, Fri or Sat.

Hello Pariswanderlust, Thank you very much for your nice feedback. As french brasserie we totally agree on the fact that our menus are not extraordinary. But we are keeping on a kind of french cooking tradition and service for 90 years. And we are really happy that you enjoyed it. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon, La... More

One of the reasons we came for a few days was because of the wealth of art deco architecture here. And the Boulingrin is an exceptional example of this. We dined upstairs, which has many interesting features. Food wise, we chose seafood starters (I had oysters, and my wife had half a crab). Then my wife tried a tartare Italienne,... More

Whenever I am in Reims, I make sure to visit the Boulingrin. The menu is extensive, the service very professional, the wine list has got plenty of depth and it is very well priced. We enjoyed a platter of fresh oyster fine Claires, freshly shucked and Devine washed with a bottle of Louis Roederer champagne, for main I selected the... More

Hello CC C, Thank you very much for your feedback. We are glad that you liked the tartare so much. We agree that the old traditional way, which means doing it in front of you, is always better. But trust us, the fish corner and shell fish are also pretty nice. Thank you once again and see you soon, La... More

Nice restaurant, good (not the best) food for a fair price. At the other side of the road a lot of parking. This is really an asset.

Our 4th visit in 4 years, our 2nd to their new location. Excellent friendly service and great food in pleasant surroundings and many of the staff we recognise from our very first visit. We will be back next time we are in Reims.

This is our fourth visit to this lovely typically French Brasserie. The food has always been very good and staff are very helpful. I had the poached eggs with mushrooms to start which was very tasty, followed by the skate with spinach. Too full for dessert I opted for a cafe gourmand! Do leave room for this! Well worth it!... We last visited this restaurant 7 years ago. The location moved from across the road (3 years ago apparently) but the atmosphere is still the same. The waiters are mainly new (although there is one of the original guard) but still customer focused. The food is still very good (tried steak tartare for the first time) and the wine list... More
