Looking for something typical French and you're around? Look no further. This is what we did. We strolled around the south bank, walking from Pont Alexandre III to Luxembourg Gardens. We needed a great place to have lunch. There are not too many places in...More

When back in France I always expect great food and am ready for poor service. Things change: Café Varenne was disappointing on the food (a lousy bavette with a tasteless sauce, pricey for what it was), but service was fine and location and decoration perfect.

My daughter and I stopped here and enjoyed a cup of coffee and a lemon tart and a fresh berry tart. Pricey but well worth the cost. If I find myself close by I would definitely stop.

We actually ate here twice this week. Very nice and competent wait staff, despite our obvious lack of language expertise. Specials vary each day. My wife had the burrata and a tuna steak on respective nights, I the beef skewers and duck in mustard sauce....More

Everything about this restaurant was very average. It's a nice place, however the food has been a little hit and miss in the two visits I've made in recent weeks. (I'm living in Paris for work for a few months and this place is on...More

We did not eat breakfast there. I'm not sure it's open for breakfast. At Hotel Pont Royal the breakfast is wonderful!

I have seen dogs there but it is not really a patio. It is more a row of small table and seats each side. Rue de Bac is a busy place and your dog would have to be well behaved to avoid being trod on by pedestrians!
