I'm afraid that I've given away the whole review in the title. We stopped here for a refreshment after a fair amount of foot-slogging. My wife had a brace of pistachio and vanilla ices and I had lime and pineapple sorbets. Now, I know that this is hardly Michelin catering but both sets of ices were as good as you... More

Convenient to visit, nice service and great food. My first trip to Paris with family and get the chance to drop by this restaurant recommended by friend. We had a wonderful lunch, would like to share with all who have the chance to visit.

A great location frequented by locals and tourists alike. My family and I had breakfast here and liked it a lot. The pastry was fresh, the coffee and tea both delicious and the service good also. The breakfast is offered in formulas and we thought it was good value for a mainstream place. Worth the visit.

Good food and we'll priced for its tourist location. Waiters friendly. Had steak frites. No complaints from me.

The Malakoff (they own also 'Le Wilson' next door, which offers exactly the same menus) is very well-located in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower just across Trocadero metro station. From Trocadero you have one of the best views of the Eiffel Tower and especially at night the view over Paris is breath-taking with the tower right in front of... More

The onion soup I had at Le Malakoff was one of the best I ever had. It's so nice and big you don't really need a main course afterwards. The rump steak unfortunately cannot really be recommended the fries and steak are just below average.

We had a group of 5 for dinner, and 2 plates were brought out and then we had to ask where the other 3 plates were. About 30 minutes later the food was brought out. During the wait time, they wouldn't acknowledge us and avoided making eye contact. Our server was very kind, and sweet. The food was ok, a... More

With a busy lunch time. We were rushed on to a table. Quickly ordered 3 steaks as the pasta would cost almost the same. Taste: 3.5/5 Quantity : 4/5 Price okay for steak

We stopped here for Breakfast after having a walk around the nearby sights. It was a very welcome breakfast and very enjoyable. The coffee was excellent and restaurant very inviting. It was also very very reasonably priced for such a location a quality of breakfast, it did make our hotel breakfast seem a bit over priced. Very pleased. Great little... More

Staying in Trocadero

Neighbourhood Profile
Trocadero
This is the neighbourhood of grand and impressive Haussmann-designed apartments and buildings. National museums overlook the Eiffel Tower and embassies fill the avenues and streets. Locals head to the butcher, florist, or bakery on their daily rounds amidst luxury and splendour, all with a view over Paris and its most famous tower. Snuggled in between the grand buildings are small art galleries and homes of historical significance. With a rich legacy from 19th century politics, art, and architecture, you can’t help but be reminded of the belle époque, the Universal Exhibitions and the nobility that have frequented and shaped these streets.
