this place is total chaos and the ordering system is tricky if you dont speak french, the pastries and croissants they want you to order from your table but if you dont know their names its tough. the waiter was running flat out and service was good. the best thing was the price! for 20euros we were stuffed and everything... Beautiful boulangerie nestled next to place des abbesses and Montmartre. Teleport me there now. Yummy brunch ( from the croissant to the croque madame to the omelette ) and I love the rustic feel away from the city's hustle. An all time favorite

very friendly wait staff, super cute place to have brunch. choices were extensive and the bread was really fresh. i think it's fair to point out that seats at the groundfloor are packed really tightly, they literally have to move the tables to be able to seat the guests.

Visited in the summer and sat on the street but in November we decided to sit upstairs which is very quaint. Coffee in big bowls, fresh crusty bread and dippy eggs perfectly cooked - now been here 3 times this year and not been disappointed yet.

On a Monday morning I decided to take there my boyfriend, I had already been there and I remembered legendary croissants. We took long time to decide because the menu was varied even for breakfast. A very polite and efficient waitress took the order and arrived after 10 minutes with our breakfast. We took smoked salmon with butter toast, eggs... More

Big bowl of cafe au lait served with delicious baguette, butter and jam. Ideal start to the day. Tables a little close together to make it relaxing but cheerful, prompt service made it great value for money.

Beautiful setting, lovely food, unfortunately the worst service I have ever received. Really spoiled the end to our weekend away. The waitress was even shouting 'Au Revoir' in my face at the end...as I requested not to pay for the butter that she just dropped on the floor outside before putting it on our table AFTER we had finished all... This was recommended by a local. Love this place, can't go wrong with it. There is seating upstairs, so take advantage of it.

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
