Really good restaurant, warm and cozy environment with friendly and helpful staff. Great food at reasonable prices, well sized portions with good vegetarian options. Afghan food need to be tested and so I would really recommend it!

It was my first time trying Afghan food and I have been pleasantly surprised! I tried the aubergine with yogurt, cheese nan and a vegetarian course. Everything was tasty and delicious. I also recommend to try the mint tea. The environment is nice and the staff is kind. I will definitely go back!

I was tired of french food so wanted to try something different. Went for dinner on thursday night at 10pm. Only 2 other groups in house, nice and relaxing ambiance with dim lighting. Food was lackluster. I couldn't read the most of the menu but ordered the salad, which turned out to be diced cucumbers/tomato with yogurt, and the lamb... More

This was the second time we had been to Afghani in two years, and it is utterly perfect. Sumptuous food and incredibly good value. Recommend the Ashok and the Specialite agneau dish (lamb), stunning.

Good vegetarian options, which is why I went, but everything looked fresh. Enjoyed the wine selection and service was friendly. The environment is very warm and cozy with interesting objects/photography to scope while you dine.

Since a colleague had suggested us, we (three South Asians) went there on the eve of new year. We were told that there was no space and that there was no point waiting for a table to be free. Accidentally the colleague also visited the restaurant and I went to greet her. Immediately my two other friends were asked to... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighbourhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
