I liked this place very much. Noodles are created just in front of you and it is just amazing. It is a very small place but it is definitely worth visiting and trying delicious things.

we've eaten here several times because the food is just so good! The noodles are made fresh right in the front window. They are then cooked as you order them. Everything we've tried has been really tasty. Big steaming bowls of broth, noodles and add-ins. The service is really quick. Get there at opening hours because the place fills up... More

Went as a family of four. They are 'drawing' the noodles as you get into the small restaurant which in itself is quite a spectacle. Noodles were good in a rich and richly aromatic soup. We definitely want to come back - maybe already tonight.

This place is almost always packed, be prepared to do some waiting. The noodles here are delicious. There are a few options for vegetarians, so I didn't feel left out. Portion size is generous, service is polite. At 10€ a dish, its average Paris price I think. I didn't find this place out of the world like my hosts said,... More

Omg! Handmade noodles. Get it stir-fried. Full of flavors and excitement, like a party in my mouth! Found this place just wondering around the market area and decided to go in. They had lots of customers. Boy did we turn out to be right!!! The service was super fast. The food came out faster than it took us to decide... More

We were looking for a take-out restaurant after a long day visiting Paris and our hotel concierge recommended Les Pates Vivantes, We were very happy with our meal! The noodle consistency was perfect and the dish was very tasty. It was really fun to watch the chef making the noodles - cannot get fresher noodles! I strongly recommend it!

Had an evening meal here. The food was flavoursome and as expected. Noodle soup was particularly good.

I haven't been back to this restaurant for quite some time due to the slow service during lunch hour. I went back today as the one I intended to go was closed on Monday. It was a nice surprise. Service was fast and efficient. I had ordered noodle with spicy mutton. Noodle was tasty and mutton was slightly spicy, just... More

Difficulty with language so just pointed at what we wanted on menu. Arrived fairly quickly but after starting to eat realised not what ordered. Called waitress. Did not undetstand even with help from French speaking people at next table. Eventually had correct meal delivered. By now really hungry. Pretty ordinary. Searched high and low for the vegetables and chicken in... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighbourhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighbourhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theatres, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
